I completed my medicals on November 29th and RPRF was paid upfront. Haven't received Bio-data form yet but ecas shows application is in process. Hope to see some response by next week.

You'll be very lucky if you get response by next week !

Folks (including me) who have completed medicals starting of this month are still waiting for update from CIC ! But then again, CIC has its own "VIP" applications, which are processed faster.. You can be one of them

Congrats, everyone! Good to see serious action for Jan, Feb applicants finally.

like eds1275 said most likely you won't see any movement by next week in fact 95% you won't get ppr before january 2014.
there are applicants still from dec and even nov who have completed medicals way before you and still waiting for ppr.
based on your timeline your doctor has not even get the lab test results yet and he still needs to upload them after they are received then submit the file to RMC ottawa which will be reviewed by a medical immigration officer then forwarded to a cpp-ottawa for a final review by visa officer who will then issue a ppr if everything is completed and in order.
i might be a little discouraging but my analysis are based on real factors.

I just realized that due date under application assignment section of gcms has passed. It was dec 1st 2013.

I think these due dates don't mean anything to VOs, even though my medical is done and eligibility and criminality (and hopefully security too) are set passed in gcms.
