Hey Lpc198000,

Can you please check your gcms under section Medical (before section finalize application)? Can you please tell what is the value entered for Ime status and reason for closure ?

Mine says Received and From emed.

Just want to check if it updated becuase I had undergone medical by the time gcms was generated.

Also, under application assignment in pAge 2 says due date is December 1st 2013. Do you see anything like this?

Other members, please reply if you have any info.

Thanks.

Mine's empty.
Also my eligibility due date is Feb 2014. :(

Hello Guys,

I received an email from CIC requesting RCMP clearance certificate for my spouse. But I had already sent them to CIC on October 10th and it is also attached to the files according to the GCMS notes i received recently.

In the email they also ask to disregard the request if it is already been sent. So dont know what this means and what should I do . Any suggestions please .

Have you got medical ? Any folks who received medical can you please post your status under IME status and reason for closure?

Thank you!

Ceeram. See the bright side of this - they are actually looking at your file, which is freaking good news in the present highly unsatisfying environment ;)

Hello Salmo,

I do see the bright side of it but just want to what this means. Has some on been a similar situation.

To me it's simply means that they have opened your file, and an automatic email has been sent (hence the email stating to ignore if already sent).

PS: Maybe a short email to enquiry about what's up could help to reassert the fact that you have already sent what they just asked.

Hello Salmo,

I was curious if you have ordered gcms notes recently.

haha ... no no, i meant, as in lame and not cool of your employer to treat you that way!

i too was venting friend (cuz now its 3 things, not just PR). dont get whats up with GCMS - i always got it on time. let me know if yours comes in.

Self correct. They came in like an hour ago....no change, no comments, nothing. And so goes on the wait forever.

Nothing? Jesus. I was hoping that you would get something positive from your GCMS notes.
I myself do not even want to order them now.
I am also in a bit of tight situation myself as probably many other out there. I'd have to go back to my home country by the end of Feb next year.
No other choice, option or ways. You are probably right. It would probably go on this way till next year.

I have never bothered doing it, simply because I know that would frustrate me even more.

Same here, it's not like I can send an updated reference letter if they requested it. (I have quit that job a long time ago and it is highly not likely they would bother doing anything for me, let alone typing up a more detailed job letter)
So basically, nothing much I could do even if I saw something on GCMS notes. I'd rather not know at this point. It's not like I can do much about it anyways.
So I completely hear you.

I think it is best to inform them about that you sent it in Oct and it has been attached to your file according your GCMS note generated on XXXX etc. Nothing wrong with saying that to them. Just to be on a safe side.

hehe :D JESUS is very mild to what I felt like screaming at work today. lol :P And yea, you right, I dont expect much until next year. Especially with the holidays around the corner.

But if a VO were to look at my file, I could see myself being thankful during this holiday season...with a nice Macallan, single malt. 8)
