Oh what I meant by a closure was something or anything almost or even kind of definitive whether it be a rejection or MR.
Yes it does surely feel a bit better to know that there are sooooooooooo many others waiting as me, let alone the ones that have waited even longer than most of us. I feel for them.

Hey Squishy. Myself, you, ceeram and many others are all on the same ..."waiting/no clue what's happening/guessing how much dust has piled on our application..." - kind-of-boat

However, if you look at the spreadsheet (with two notable, not to say bizarre, exceptions) many people who applied before us on the same month are still waiting.

For this reason, I would say there is still nothing "wrong" with the status of our applications...

Today I checked my application status in ecas and it's showing In Process. I am not able to go back and find in the posts, however I remember somebody updated. Can you please advise what will be the next steps. I have completed my medical on yesterday Nov 16.

next it will say medical received,,,,

then it will say decision made...

then you will get PPR...

Ecas would have been updated on the day you got medical request. As Rus66958 said, Within next few days, ecas will be updated to medical received. After you send the police certificates, you'll get ppr and ecas will be updated to decision made.

Cic has not updated my ecas yet. No email from ottpilot either. I was supposed to get my gcms on 15th. I've not got it yet. My employer keeps pestering me reminding to pack my bags next month end.

I hope that rest f week gets better..

I also hope that those waiting for MR , rprf get them soon.

eds1275 what does your ecas say? actually, i received my MR oct 12 and done by oct 24 but ecas still show in process, doesn't even show that medical received.

On another note, I havent gotten my GCMS either. And its been almost 32-33 days now. Gonna wait till the end of business today, and if nothing, will shoot them an email.

Also nothing on my TRV or my PR. Getting flustered! Gonna have to run a lap at lunch to decompress..

Basically I'm working for a company that operates in many countries. Although I'm currently working in Canada, they can send me back anytime. I got 2 choices now - go back to home country office or leave the organization. I'm not even getting interview at potential employers because first question they ask me is if I'm a pr / citizen.

Why is your employer doing that?

I think I can only apply next month because of 4 month rule.

I had actually applied and withdrew my application because I have another work permit with another company valid until April. They offered me the job and processed my work permit, but later refused the offer.
