I have never bothered doing it, simply because I know that would frustrate me even more.

And totally agree with this. F*** was I frustrated today!! But you know what, I have no choice. I need to find out which way they are leaning, since I have about a month left before I need to make a decision. To make matters worse, my application is complicated as well. So, any hint on what they are thinking is welcomed...even if negative.

Its the not knowing that kills me. But you are right - if I was sure in my app and had time, I wouldnt be bothering with this. Ugh!

2 entries in my GCMS notes caught my attention.

1) Request for RPRF sent as batch 1-AP3FA3.

This means that RPRF emails are sent in batches and not individually. I had previously assumed that RPRF emails are composed by VOs individually.

2) Send Medical exam request.

This was created on October 31st. I got my MR on 4th November, immediately after RPRF. I guess RPRF and MR are handled by different departments.

Congrats! It took you about nine months to get PR since AOR. That's super.

I think it is best to inform them about that you sent it in Oct and it has been attached to your file according your GCMS note generated on XXXX etc. Nothing wrong with saying that to them. Just to be on a safe side.

Thanks! green_dc. I asked my lawyer to send them an email stating i had already sent it in October and also that the GCMS notes state it is added to the file. Let us see what they reply. Hopefully this means they are processing my file.

Yes, that means they are processing your file. I am sure you will get MR soon once your lawyer sends the email.

You mentioned in the status that Passport Request 'was not required' and then visa was issued. Does that mean sometimes they do not even ask for the passport and issue work permit like paper in mail? Or yours is somewhat different case. Please share if you can.

passport is not required for visa exempt coutnry

visa exempt countries won't be issued immigrant visas to canada just confirmation of permanent residence.

Timeline please - i.e. date your application was received and ate you received your AOR - this would help us "try" to understand what CIC (also known as the Huge Black Void) is up to these days...
