Well I'm hoping we won't need to know as our applications are already processed by then!

Seriously though, these numbers mean very little - it sat at 13 month for most of last year and this year. It went to 12 months for a very short time

Thank you :)

Thanks spookyb!

Do you know how much time did cic take to confirm / associate the medical test results with pr application ? Are those folks in the forum? Please let me know!

I know people who have used their TRV medical results for PR applications, and the results have been accepted. However, they will not accept results more than an year old, so make sure they are recent.

I really hope that ! Did you order gcms? What does your ecas say?

I know there are times when CIC will reply to your email and say that a note has been made in your file. But you won't know for sure until your ecas changes to medical results have been received. I've noticed that there is a general misconception on this forum that once medical results have been uploaded by the doctor, that the ecas should be updated to "received". The "medical results have been received" update means that the primary visa officer has received the results of the medical assessment from the CIC Medical Officer, not the DMP. The DMP sends results to the CIC Medical Officer, who then files a report and that report is received by the VO.

updated for yum, eds, entercan2014, and aldast

I think decentgurl needs updating - thanks for helping!

Thanks. I just did my medical today. Unless cic explicitly tells me that my wife's results are received, I cannot fully guarantee that a second medical is not required. They may update the ecas status based on my medical test.

I also hope my wife's medical report is still at New Delhi office database, and that New Delhi office will forward the complete result to Ottawa medical officer upon VIsa Officers request.
