Anybody recently emailed ottpilot-immigration and received a response from them?

I emailed them informing a change in my marital status, but no response since last 10 days. I emailed them again 5 days back just in case if they missed my first email.

Wife waiting for trv, no response from Ottawa pilot and no update on my pr application is making me frustrated, sad and worried.

Hoping for some good news..

Average time for their response is 2 weeks.
I mailed them on 26 Sept and got response yesterday.

I would sugesst don't send many emails. Sometime they update the case and do not respond to E-mail.

Personally i would suggest - Wait for month time , Send them E-mail again or later you can also request for GCMS notes to see if the update is on your file or not.

Thanks

I think this what happned in my case. They updated my case (by rejecting the application which what I was expecting since my language test scores were lower than required) without responding to my emails (I sent 2 emails in 3 weeks time , asking if it was fine to send new language test results).

Finally light at the end of the tunnel :)

PAFSO diplomats have received a favourable ruling today from the labour board. The strike is still on, but should end soon after federal government follows court instructions.

I'm hoping that diplomats return to work soon !

Just wondering how did you see a decision in your case when you only submitted the application yesterday? Did they send you an email?

Thanks!

My earlier emails (from March etc) got replies within 3-4 days. This time, however, they have not responded in 10 days.

I guess the strike explains some of these delays? Anyways, as you suggested, I'll wait for couple of more weeks.

Priority,
Your case is straight forward. You don't meet the language requirements under CEC and it is a straight reject. Your email requests and additional docs submission is secondary. CIC has rightly taken a decision on your case based on the docs you submitted with your application. You need to fulfil all the basic requirements of CEC as on the date of application submission. And there is no obligation on CIC to consider your request or reply to emails if you have failed the basic requirements.

I had an application that I sent in may which i got aor in july. My profile shows the timeline for my new application

After reading previous posts of Priority, I realized that s/he had a previous application from May.

However, I'm just wondering what made CIC open a May application in September itself.. Based on my gcms, I saw no movement in my file since it was transferred to Ottawa.

Please share your thoughts.

Andy,
I knew that my application would be rejected when I found out about the language requirements which i was aware of only after application. I booked right away a new test. But I was trying my luck to ask if they would accept new language results to try to salvage the application. At the same I was gathering my documents for a new application.

Does anyone know if eligibility is looked at before requesting RCMP certificate?
I got an RCMP request a few weeks ago. I'm wondering if it's a good time to apply for GCMS notes.

Also, Andy - can you add my details to the tracker?
Application Received - 23 Jan 2013
AOR - 27 Feb 2013
Status - Application Received

Thank you!

Additional documents have to be submitted to CPP-O where CEC applications are being processed.
Here the email address: ottpilot-immigration@cic.gc.ca
Make sure to mention your file number, name and dob in the email.
