Hi guys! just got MR just now. CIC received my application January 10. my status still says app. received. I hope all Jan. applicants get MR's too soon.. Good luck everyone!

Question on Email ID to send New Passport Details:

Hi. I was advised by this topic members to send my new passport details to

ottpilot-immigration @ cic.gc.ca

which I have already done. Nevertheless, I was wondering whether I should send the same to the New Delhi Visa Office as well, since I had applied from India and therefore in Jan (as per the prevailing guidelines) had chosen New Delhi as the Visa Office.

Also, if there is any other email id where I should be sending the same, it would be great to know about it.

All cec applications are processed in Ottawa. You would have posted your application to new Delhi but they would have sent it to Ottawa therefore no other entity would need to know about your passport when it comes to your cec application

No, I posted the application to Ottawa as per the guidelines, only the VO selection was New Delhi as advised. Any further info on other relevant email ids (other than the one already mentioned) would be most helpful.

A) I have decided it prudent enough to send a little explanation regarding my 2013 NOA to CIC.

B) I also think it prudent to send a small email explaining my implied status during transition from study permit to work permit upon graduation.


Should I send it to the same email id (ottpilot-immigration @ cic.gc.ca) in 1 single email or 2 different emails?

I had done upfront medical in India in Augst and asked for a confirmation of reciept from CIC
THIS WHAT THEY REPLIED
A note has been made on your file .
What should you understand by this ?

I believe they added a note stating that you did upfront Medicals with your application. When a VO looks into ur application so that he will know. This is just my guess...

If there is an email address on your application, it arrives by email

My CIC was updated to "Medical results have been received."

It either happened this AM (Oct 28, 2013) or yesterday. Can some please update the speadsheet?
