Okay thanks. and does it comes from nairobi Embassy directly or it is sent throughone institution in charge of that? what can you advise on when reviewing the notes?what are the remarks to note or how can some one get idea from there how far is his file to be completed?

lonelyguy . good stuff .thanks as u said maybe thats the reason , in my thought the officers is not satisfied by our evidence we didn't sent our wedding ceremony pictures as i lost my camera at addis ababa Airport we just submitted some pictures from our religious ( Muslim ) ceremony called '' Nikah'' and there was some numbers gap on my wife personal history details part on the form . is there any suggestion on that ? appreciated

I will ask my work mate, if I get him tomorrow, and I will let you know.his wife did interview.I think they also called him and asked him a few questions.for pictures if now you got more evidences I can recommend you to go with them when you go to your interview, because that person interviewing has almost big word to say on your file.when did you apply though?in interview expect any kind of question,that you might not even expecting.I remember once in a certain embassy(not Canadian), they asked one man who was going in a seminar as pastor, to state one bible verse that helped too much. he wasn't able to state even a single one.he lost the visas.and would not be that it looks like he was to get it.imagine if they ask you the proffession of your husband when you do not know.remember they have all information in his application.better you review it before you go to your interview.but if your relationship is genuine you have nothing to worry.all the best.

Lonelyguy nothing to do with the visa office u will recive ur note from Access to information and privacy ( ATIP ) office in canada https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/

Hi when did you apply for your Notes? I also applied end of last May and I am waiting.do you have an idea when will I get notes feed back?

I applied on the 13th of May and received it on 9 June 2015. It usually takes 30 days but they did it in less than 30 days in my case.

Lonelyguy i am the sponsoring my wife from ethiopia , and she knows me well , i applied on june of last year , got SA Jan 2015 , and file transferred on Jan 6 -2015 ( Same day )

I am sorry I thought the opposite.but now it's clear.yes i will ask my colleague and once I got the feed back I will be back to you.the problem we might pass a few days without seeing eachother due to apposit shifts but a week can not pass.

My file got transferred beginning of March 2015 n still havent heard from them.
How long did it take for u guys to hear from the VO? Approx how many months??

When you use the email from the cic website, an automated DO not reply message is sent to everyone. You have to wait at least 5 days for a reply, unless they have asked you to provide something. They will then reply to you with this
email address: nrobi-im-enquiry @ international.gc.ca

You can send an email directly to the email address above if you like. It's the same thing

these notes that you mentioning, do we pay for them? A friend told me about it and gave me this link- https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/welcome.do

I just submitted the application. I was expecting to pay for it like my friend told me. He said he paid I think 5 dollars for that. To my surprise, I never got charged and I got an email confirming that my application/request has been received.

Did anyone of you guys got the same situation or you guys paid for the notes?

There is a 5 dollars fee , if u applied under the access to information Act , and free under Privecy act , the email u gt means that they just received ur application request to review , especially if u made the request on behalf of some one else u must pay if not paid they email u back to submit the fee

just to update i landed on 5th june and getting used to the place .its all different here as people are ALWAYS working so first few days are lonely but a bit depressing .But overall i love the place and looking for a job now with an open mind .
