Lonelyguy i am the sponsoring my wife from ethiopia , and she knows me well , i applied on june of last year , got SA Jan 2015 , and file transferred on Jan 6 -2015 ( Same day )

Sorry for the delay Falmata. as I told you I didn't see my colleague for a few days. so he told me they called him(canadian embassy from his country), they asked him if he still commited and wants to bring the wife here,and he said yes.they asked him a few Q about what prooves thei marriage to be genuine. also WHEN WIFE HAD INTERVIEW THEY ASKED HER PROOFS OF THEIR RELATIONSHIP genuine marriage especially, given that there are so many fraudulent marriage.he told me that you should be ready for any Q and most of the time they compare your answeres, her answers and what you putted in your file.
he gave me an example thatthey asked his friend Q related to their honeymoon.
I know it's too muxh but I hope I tried to give u general Idea. all the best my brother.Salamnech!!

just to update i landed on 5th june and getting used to the place .its all different here as people are ALWAYS working so first few days are lonely but a bit depressing .But overall i love the place and looking for a job now with an open mind .

Hi Falmata I don't know If I got well your question.but I said It was almost a month between invitation for interview and interview time. and do not compare the waiting times because for him it took him in total more than 2 years to have the wife here.only what he told me make sure anything they ask her if they ask you as well would be matching and not different to your application. when we started to work together more than 2 years ago he had alreadya pplied, and the wife got visas like 2 months ago.so do not compare the period every step took him to yours. I know yours will be faster.

5 days to 3 months after sponsorship approval nothing heard from them!! Not even medical received shows on ecas!!

This is very very very discouraging! I just don't know what to do. Might just go back to my home country until they approve my wife and requesther passport.

They don't reply to emails! Pathetic!

same here bro be patient mine was transferred on January 06 , haven't heard anything ether … but u can go and have fun with ur wife

Normally Nairobi Use to be known for delivering for most of the cases for 6 months from the initial date case was sent, and many would go with 8 month and very few would last a year. it's surprising that now we see people that went more than a year. however Manilla and Sao paul are requesting passport for february and March applicants some got even their Visas. I do not know what happened to our lovery Nairobi. can someone wake up them for us? the hears of some will stop if Nairobi doesn't come for help. Only the meddecine called passport request can help those hearts. .

MY HUSBAND GOT HIS VISA TODAY!!!! Our total processing time was 6.5 months, only 3.5 once it got to Nairobi! Hang in there everyone, news will come soon! Good luck to everyone !
