[quote author=lonelyguy , ecas stil saying " Application received , medical have been received " they email me back stating interview is required ( in June 9 ), I hope gd things will come soon

Hi all, My status also changed today to In-process from application received. Hopefully this is some good news.

[quote author=samjj2 , Good news , when did u apply ? cn u please post ur timeline for us and U or your relative has to do interview or waved ? thanks

I would like to see his Timeline too just to ahve an idea. but falmata don't stress about the time you applied fbecause I believe the countries also do notnot have same time line(I am not sure it's my personal observation).some countries take longer even for same VO.remember they have statistics about us when we arrive here. for example my workmate I told you another day about his process took about 3 years.I can interpret that in fact that Haiti have a big population here, maybe they try to give long time line for not encouraging new comers.remeber they also have details for each country about crimes, divorces ect.. I think all this might play a role. for example if Ethiopia in 100 cases only 2 have divorced in last 5 years, and Kenya got 50 on 100, i believe this might influence too how they decide timeline for countries.as well as other points.(ofcourse only Immigration agent can give better facts.
in brief it's better for yoiu to compare with someone from same country tahn someone from Tanzania for example.
For Accra VO they are a lot of November applicants and December ones who have heard nothing yet from the VO.that's onething to show you that no reason to frustrate brother.for me I had simply decided to go and see her, but now as I saw a change I will wait a bit.

My application was submitted in Decemeber 2014, then beginning of March it was transferred to Niarobi. And finally yesterday (August) the ecas status changed to In-process. It took approx 5 months for status to change to process after app was transferred.
I am not sure about the interview part of its waved or not yet. As I hvnt heard anything from them yet and it just states medical received.

Would it mention on the ecas website if interview is required or waved??

That's why I am not worried about you.because it's not even one year.I always tell my friends that it will atke between one year and 8 months to ahve my wife here. which is between Oct and next February. and no nothing like interview.but we gave many proofd as possible. I really don't tink they could need interview to eb convinced.I think the fact that you told me you lost your wedding picture was one of the point that made you loosing some points. but according to those notes you shared another day.I believe everyuthing for you will be done before January 2016.and you have nothing to worry since they even mentioned that you will be undertaking for 3 years.which should be fine for you.

Thank you , I hope so just trying to stay positive and be pationt ...

I have question on about ecas .

Under the sponsorship application status it says decision made and I did get the result. When I look under the Permanent Residence Application Status it says in process does that mean anything? Is it like that for everyone or it suppose to say application sent to visa office etc ... ?

[quote author=ohcan. That means you got appruved as a sponsor , if it is saying "in process " under application for parmanent resdent wheach means visa office is processing your relatives application , and that shows a good sign , I hope u hear good news soon , gd luch
