Hello,

I had USA Visa its cancelled without notes after I visit the USA . and after asking the reason for cancelling I got this email

"New information became available after the visa was issued so that we must re-evaluate your eligibility for the visa. Therefore, you will need to re-apply for a visa and the officer we will determine your eligibility at that time. "

I applied again and I'm still under AP with Yellow slip, in the embassy interview they didn't stamp my visa,

also, have Canadian Visa and I'm planning to Vist in April so can this Cancelled visa affect my Canadian visa or the Canadian border control give me trouble for it?

  • I didn't overstay in the US
  • I stayed there for 13 days only
  • I didn't do anything wrong while my visiting the US

Thanks for any answer

It all depends on the reason it was cancelled for. Unfortunately if you do not know the reason then we cannot help you.

CBSA will have the reason in his system and will be available to the officer when you try to reenter. If the CBSA officer assess that you need extra screening, then yes. You will have to try and see.

Thank you for your answer, you advise me to contact with CBSA before i go to Canada?

I don't want to go there and come back, the reason which i got from them its just "New information became available after the visa was issued so that we must re-evaluate your eligibility for the visa. Therefore, you will need to re-apply for a visa and the officer we will determine your eligibility at that time. " and I applied again and I'm still waiting

Thank you

You don't need to go anywhere. You can just give CBSA a phone call or email.

Hi Ahmed!
Just wondering which office issued your visa? and which office cancelled your visa?

I sent email for them I hope I will get good answer soon
A yellow slip means that most probably your employment documents and/or employer are being investigated. It's impossible to say how long this administrative process could take.

CBSA would have access to the fact that your US visa was cancelled + you have been issued a 221g (Administrative Processing)

I explained in my email for them I already applied again, IM sure about my history and what I did in The USA, hopefully Canadian visa will not be effected because IM sure my American visa canceled by mistake, IM travelling so much, Germany, Kuwait and I have been in USA without any problems in borders, hopefully they will answer soon
