If ur driving license is old, then ur premium will be less little bit.

My driving tutor gave me price of 2k for corolla car which I was driving for classes.
Car is old but I don't have plan to buy now.

Yes, car insurance in Ontario, specially in GTA will cost you arm and a leg. it is hugely expensive, specially Brampton is on top, I am taking various online quotations for 2001 Corolla, and the minimum I got is 535 $. which really keep you away from buying a car.

Other than GTA it is little cheaper e.g in London, Burlington, Hamilton, Oakville etc you mat get the same quote for 250-300$

Used cars can be bought cheap, a good 2001 corolla or civic can be bought between 2-3k. Mazda 3, 2004 can be bought between 3-5k
