Good posting pecimob I'm planing to go to Calgary too, I have one question, you said ..."We gave the officer an address to which the PR card would be sent."...how did you know the address? is from a family member?, or a friend? in my case a just know one person who may help with the address, when I arrive I need to see where I'm going to live.

Also you answer my concern, when I arrive it will be on Toronto and I'm sure I'll miss the flight to Calgary, but looks the airline help you, I have to little girls and I'm trying to have in advance and idea of the actual day we travel.

Thank you and keep posting it really help a lot.

Good day!!

Good day!!
i had relatives in calgary. In your case, i suggest you have your friend's address ready with you and use it for your PR card until you are able to find a place.

travelling with little children can be difficult. but don't worry if you miss your flight. the airline will arrange one for you. there are several flights to calgary. I flew by Air Canada.

as I understand your interview was made in Toronto, though your final destination is Calgary. Did the Immigration office interview you again at the airport of Calgary, meaning you have to pass again to an immigration?

if so what are the questions and how is the procedure on your final port of entry?

I'm sure is the same as the US cjcharmy88 After he left the Toronto immigration office he took a local airplane and land in calgary and go home, no more immigration, but if you arrive let said from Chicago, or Seattle and land in Calgary sure you will go through immigration office in Calgary, every international flight pass immigration not the local ones.

Cheers!

I did not land in Toronto. I came from Korea and the first port of entry was Vancouver. From there, I proceeded to Calgary. The immigration interview occurred in Vancouver.
