No problem with hand written forms. Just make sure they are legible. It is true that some forms are fillable while others are not.

Good luck!

another thing, on the KIT it said it is recommended that for mailing add on the MAPP form should be a Manitoba add, how about the phone # would it be my number or number of my sponsor?

tnx advance

Hi,
Yes you can update your address online if you applied online, just log in? Otherwise you can email the office in Winnipeg with your file number and request your address to be changed. Hope this helps.

Regards

Andrew

thank you andrew i guess i have to update both , any email in particular?

If you will use your Manitoba relative's address then you may use their phone number as well.

Thanks Carl Zeiss. What I will do is to include the IELTS result as requested for in the checklist (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5690E.pdf ) when am submitting.

Regards.

Oh I see. You are under the category that needs to submit IELTS, and your checklist version (June 2012) requires just that. You may disregard my suggestions. Somebody else might have better suggestions. Good luck!

I have heard that RBI guidelines are only for local/national instruments.
International DDs still have 6 months validity. Please check again with the issuing bank.

You are under FSW Category.
Why post here? Just wondering :)

hello everyone,

I have received LAO from MPNP and now has to send the application for PR to CIO,Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada. I have some confusion regarding the demand draft. It has to be made in $CAD in favour of 'RECEIVER GENERAL FOR CANADA' but I don't know where should it be payable.....NEW DELHI or Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada....Can anyone help me out in this regard ?
Thanks in advance

Hello victory123,

Congratulations on your LOA.

in the application set to CIO, you only need to pay the application fees and not the RPRF fee. This fee has to be in CAD$; and it is better to pay via credit card. There is a form to send your credit card charge authorization. Sign and send that form.

The fees you mentioned as payable to 'RECEIVER GENERAL FOR CANADA' at New Delhi in INR is the RPRF fee, which is payable when you receive the medicals request.

Hi mhersol..sorry for the late reply...have not submitted our docs to CIO yet...we may not meet the deadline coz completion of docs would probably be around late december or early January... is it ok to ask for the extension?..if the extension is approved, will it be sent to the applicant or sponsor?...will it be thru email or snail mail?...

Hello Jujuangel, have you being able to get any clue about your LOA? And did you send any mail to MPNP about your address. I pray God will find it out.

Victory123, I bet you're thrilled about this achievement! Well done! Very happy for you. Some people advice that it's better to send RPRF fee to speed the process. But since there is no requirement to send this fee in the "Nova Scotia checklist" it's OK to wait till the docs resent to the local visa office.

Hey, friends, everybody who is aiming Manitoba as your new home, I wish you success!

I have an interesting situation. Was nominated more than a month ago. Went to Kazakhstan to apply for police clearances for me and my wife. Didn't have time to wait, arranged pick-up by a friend who sent them to Hong Kong by registered mail. It's been more than three weeks, I amd extremely anxious. Hope it's not lost. Can anyone give a piece of advice? Can I go ahead and send the package to CIO, And send the clearances separately when they arrive? I still have to send them before it's three months after issuance (should be "used up"). Otherwise I will have to get into trouble of getting them again (traveling and arranging, oh man!).

any tips will be highly appreciated, dear friends

Hi, as far as i know you just have to show the equivelent amount of your local currency that equals the amount of CAD $ needed to land all of your family in Canada, in your own current bank account which you have in your country. No need to wait for any amount of time. You can transfer the money in one day and out the next, as long as its shows on your statement as in when you print the statements off.

Hope this helps

Hi All,

I just received an email from MPNP saying I was ineligible to apply for the program as I did not show proof that I had atleast 2years full time work. I uploaded my employment contract dated August 2012 together with my UAE residence visa stating the same company as my sponsor until September 2012. I don't understand why I would be ineligible when this all proves otherwise. The letter said I can re-apply online but I don't think there is a need to re-apply when I have documents as proof submitted to them back in June. I sent them an email to explain this all and is planning to resend copies of the documents early tomorrow as it is already 2am here in the UAE and I unfortunately do not have soft copies of my docs in my laptop to send to them.

Anyone thinks I still have a shot? Or does this mean I have to do the whole process all over again?

Thanks,
P

I'm bit confuse in this bold letter that you said. Can you please put here your timeline of your work experience?
