Hi again. I am applying under Family Stream.

Does a close relative have to only sign or sign and notarize in Manitoba some documents (for example Settlement Plan 2 )?????

Hi iceboyz,
Your close relative (sponsor) is the one responsible in submitting Settlement Plan 2. They have to sign those forms.

I understand, but the question is: Should a close relative (sponsor) notarize Settlement Plan or only signing required?

I think, no need to notarize. That's what our sponsor did. Print and sign.

now I am having some confusions. should we have 2 years of job experience at the same company and post or just 2 year experience is needed regardless of our post\company but related to our qualification ?

can anyone please give me the mpnp kit (family stream) for ONLINE APPLICATION. I want to know the complete list of documents they require with their mentioned rules. Thank you.

Do I need to pay some fee to MPNP for Family Stream Application?

Where can I find instructions how to pay them and how much to pay?
Thanks.

You don't have to pay anything for MPNP application. But after you've gotten your LOA and submitting your application to CIO-Nova Scotia, you're expected to pay for the application fee.

I have 3 months of experience as an accountant at one company and 22 months as en electrician at another company, so total experience 25 months.

I need to know whether they will count these 3 months to my total years of experience???????

Hi, you need 2 years experience in the last 5 years, in the job you intend to do in Canada.

If I have international passport and my spouse doesn't have it what passport does she have to submit or its better for her to leave it blank?

If you want her to be nominated with you, she has to have a passport or she will not be allowed to join you in Canada.

Hi Andrew

Can you provide me that link/reference where it is stated that 2 years of job experience is required in your intended occupation?

I think that applicants are required to have 2 years of job experience in any field but preferably in their intended occupation.

My spouse has just 1 months of work experience. The instructions says "Include only jobs you held for periods of six months or longer". So where should I indicate my spouse's work experience?

Hi, think you might be right about the 2 years in any field, but i was under the impression that if you were applying via family stream you had to be a skilled worker with an skilled job that is A or B Noc? I was under the impression that skilled workers applying for MPNP had to be coming to Canada to be employed in their current field of expertise? If this is not the case you might not have a strong application and may be rejected. If you were applying under general stream then it might be different. We applied with my wife being the principle applicant, Noc skill A (Teacher) she had to have 2 years out of the last 5 employed in this occupation. The chances of getting a job in Canada for a different occupation with no experience are pretty slim, and this would concern the MPNP officer assessing your application. Hope this helps?

Andrew

There is a section Relatives and friends. I included my brother as a supporter.
There is a field "*Relationship to spouse" and I put "Friend" there as my spouse knows my brother well.

What you guys usually put in this field????????
