Hi Jujuangel, Have you asked/informed MPNP about this?

Not yet , i send them email 8th of Nov asking if they have to wait for the returned mail in order for them to resend the LOA to my new updates address, or they can resend it and not to wait for the
returned mail , but no response until now. Do you think i can email them again and advise them that
no mail is received up to this moment?

Thanks
Juju

hi everyone...

my brother applied to MPNP online August 2012...
he received an email 24 hours after sending his application.. In it, they have stated that they have received his application,
and included in it his File Number.. they also requested him to send a hard copy of his documents through courier...
on the same month, they also called our relatives in Manitoba and asked them to send Settlement Funds..

after that, no more news... what would be the next step and how long? thanks and Good day...

Hi waweng,

Sponsor's interview is the next step. Expect it 4-5 months after receiving confirmation from MPNP.

hi nantzlei...

thanks again... all the best... :D

No problem waweng...
God Bless.

Please, help my by commenting my settlement plan. Any help is appreciated.

I am applying online through Family Stream. I have 2 years of work experience as a construction electrician.
Settlement pan asks the following:
- What steps will you take to meet the requirements for working in this occupation in Manitoba?
Possible answer: "I will find an employer who agree to hire me as a construction electrician apprentice and I will register as an apprentice. As I have experience in this field the overall length of my apprenticeship will be reduced"
- "If your occupation is regulated, can you start the licensing process before you arrive?"
Possible answer: "As I don't have 6 years of experience that is required in order to be eligible to apply for Challenging the Exams - Trades Qualification, the only thing I can do before I arrive is to study an employer market in electrician field and start looking for a prospective employer before I arrive in Manitoba".
- "If your occupation is regulated, in what related, non-regulated occupations could you find skilled employment in Manitoba based on your training and work experience?".
Possible answer: "To work in Manitoba as a construction electrician apprentice the license is not required, it is only required to register as an apprentice. However, there are occupations such as construction electrician helper and cable splicer in which one can work without registering as an apprentice."

Please comment on my answer and give some advices.
I am worried they wouldn't consider me as a skilled worker as I don't have 6 years of experience required to challenge th examination for Trade Certificate.

Any comments are appreciated.

Hi providence,
With regards to your timeline, you mean MPNP asked for additional docs even they already interviewed your sponsor? what docs did they ask?
Thanks

They asked for bank statements but i was able to provide bank certification with last 6 months ADB (Ave daily balance)
Somehow my processing officer is very accessible since she gave us her contact email address. I dunno how does it sound?

Hi providence,
That's new to my readings. Usually, after sponsor's interview, the decision of MPNP to approve or disapprove is the next stage...
Good Luck to you!
God Bless!

Just submitted the additional docs requested by MPNP yesterday, December 05.
Hopefully Sponsor's interview followed soon...
Happy waiting to all!

To be sure, I just want to know kung ok lang ba na mag Family stream ako kung ung tito ko lang ang may work kc ngresign n ung tita ko after nya ipangank ung 3rd child nila. And another thing, I have previous application pero nireturn sya skin dhil hinanapan ako ng IELTS at kulang ung supporting docs n nasubmit ng tito ko to prove that they are really permant resident ng Manitoba. Under General stream ako sa unang application ko dhl iniisip nga nila na baka maging question pa ung financial status nila dhl c tito na nga lang ang may work. pero base s mga nbabasa ko dto at s ibang forums prang hnd nmn issue ung financial status nila basta may pof ako. i have sufficient fund na nirerequire s Doc Checklist. Hope to hear from you soon... :)

Hi I still dont know how my application fared but I used the online application and it is easy to use plus since they have a checklist you will follow. If the processing officer will need more documents they will inform your sponsor and email you as well.

Maybe your Uncle who will sponsor you will be enough, since he will be the one to fill out a Sponsorship/ Setttlement Plan and that would be the one which you will submit online.
Make sure you ask for the scanned PR card and the papers to prove your family ties to your sponsor or ask him submit it to the local office along with his original settlement plan papers that he filled up.

I am not sure how they assess the sponsors qualification but better to take a chance if all your docs are submitted since it wont cost anything yet.
