Hi! Merry Christmas! I'm glad my post cheered you up. So what docs did they ask you to submit? I was also asked to submit additional docs (my parents' marriage cert and an affidavit) which I submitted a day after my uncle was interviewed. Actually, I was expecting to receive the LOA a month after but it came to our mail box in only 3 weeks. I'm guessing, if everything went well, hopefully you'll get your LOA next week, so it'd be a wonderful Christmas gift to you

That is so true did you get it via snail mail or thru a courier service? They asked us to show bank statements to cover funds we need $14K (principal & 2 dependents). I guess we will keep waiting baka nga Santa will bring it next week. Hahahha.

By tax return documents, do you mean the one from BIR? I'm not familiar with these kinds of documents since we only have the business registration permit. My sister's business is only a small stall in the market place here Lipa and we only pay the annual registration fee and the fee for the stall. So I'm not really sure if my sister can use these documents. What do you think? Is she eligible to apply?

Hi dzeanne. Yes I am referring to the annual tax returns from BIR. If she has a certificate of registration for her business, normally you need to file your annual income tax return every year. She can get in touch with an accountant to clarify these things. If someone is self employed (like me) he cannot produce any documents like cert of employment, pay slips, etc. as proof of employment. That is why MPNP asks for business registration, tax returns, professional license (if any) to support the claim that the applicant is self employed. There are several criteria under eligibility. If she can satisfy all of them I believe she is still eligible to apply. Having the right documents is indeed very important.

Hi Everyone! My relative in Manitoba directly submitted my application there. It was returned to me for the reason that I didn't submit any proof about may connection with my relative. Now I'm planning to send an online application. My questions are:

1. Aside from the form or the details I will put in the online application tool and the documents I will attach and the Settlement plan. Are there other forms I need to fill out and upload? I'm confused since in the checklist there are other form required like the Generic... etc.

2. How about the documents i will upload, does it need to be authenticated by DFA (the one with red ribbon)

3. for my sponsor, the supporting documents needed for the settlement plan part 2, like the birth/marriage certificate which will come from the country she was born (Philippines) we already have the NSO authenticated Certificate is it enough or does it need to be authenticated by DFA (the one with the red ribbon).

4. i'm hoping to submit my online application before the year ends. How about the settlement plan part 2 and supporting docs which is better thru my sponsor email or directly at the immigration in Manitoba?

5. Can you give me tips on how to answer the settlement plan? sorry this thread is too long already.. but really helpful. I'm just really running out of time for my target.

6. How about my credit cards for example do i need to declare them as my debts? and if i only have 12000 canadian dollar in my account is that enough already?

2. Docs to be uploaded for online application need not to be notarized. Just scan the original and upload.
3.NSO authenticated BC and MC is fine. No need to be authenticated by DFA.
4.As what our sponsor did when submitting SP2, they submit it directly to MPNP. For me, it's better to personally submit and don't forget to indicate the file number.
5.In answering settlement plan part 1, you can browse or surf the cic website so you can get other informations relating to what province you are applying to.
6.Settlement fund for principal applicant should not be less than CAD12000, so if you are applying as single entry, it is enough. IF you have accompanying dependants, add CAD2000 for each dependant.

they submitted the sp2 last October 9. I think they submitted the photocopy only, not that sure.

It's better to submit SP2 and supporting documents by email. In this case, only scanned copies of the original supporting documents are required. If you submit by mail or by hand, CERTIFIED true copies are required.

In imm0008 schedule 4 form there is a section which asks the applicant that "which province has nominated you".?
I am applying for MPNP and haven't got nomination so should i leave that column or write Manitoba as i am applying for it.?
