MPNP Application Batch 2014

hi all!

I applied last March 2014 and I just now saw Application pending.

I'm wondering how this process works since it has been so long since I actually researched.

After MPNP approves your application, it goes to a visa office in Canada, right? And then how long does it take for Canadian visa office to approve the provincial nomination? Im sure this is all written down somewhere on here, but Im hoping someone can give me a quick answer! THANKS!

Hi umair110, congratulations on this, I trust you will have your Nomination Certificate in the next couple of weeks after supplying all documentation.
Just a couple of questions (maybe some other forum mates can shed some light on these questions as well?):
1) What questions did they ask you?
2) What questions did they ask your sponsor?
3) What questions did they ask your employer?
4) Did they ask your or your sponsors bank stat and letter of employment T4s and ROE's ?
5) What is a T4s and a ROE's ?
6) Were you aware that they will interview your employer?

I would not want them to interview my employer as this can cause the remaining period at my job to be a awkward time. i have not told my employer about my plans to immigrate. Should I notify them? Have anyone else had this case of employer being interviewed?

Sorry about all the questions but I believe that it is not long before my application changes status and I want to be fully prepared. Than you in advance for taking the time to answer my questions.

I am applying outside of Canda. I'm from the Philippines. No job offer, I belong to the Family Stream.

In Connection to Druce's questions, please clarify which employer were you talking about? Is it you present employer where you're working at right now or is it an employer in Canada?

yes its my current employer i dont know what they asked from my employer just know that they called and my interview is all about application details
education job future plans and realtion with sponsor how old .. other thing is that when i applied my bank statement is of 1 month then they told me to upload the statment from feb14 to nov20 so i uploaded


right know status changed from information requested to Assesment in Process

Glad the status change so quickly. I am glad they are completing applications so that they can get a move on to mine as well That is alot of bank statements! I hope they dont ask this from me - it will be like 120 pages or so...

With your case, I have heard from you something that is not usual to other applicants...

1. They called your present employer (are you applying outside Canada?)
2. There are also cases wherein they'll not call the applicant, just the sponsor
3. And above all, you applied with 1 month old bank statement, then they requested you to submit the succeeding months now. With some cases, if the proof of funds (bank statement) is less than 6 months at the time of submission of documents with their application, they got denied during the assessment since they submitted less than the required 6-mos bank statement.
4. As per your timeline, you also didn't submit IELTS result right?

Are you in Canada right now?
How are you related to your sponsor?

Dear all,

I'm currently in Alberta working as a skilled worker and my husband has an open work permit.
He recently got a job offer that is kinda his lifetime dream. So, I have been searching the mpnp website looking for an answer about this;

* Can he apply mpnp with his current status? Like I said, he has an open work permit that is not based on the lmo or lmia.

I would appreciate your answer.

IELTS Academic Module is only required for Educators, if your intended occupation is a teacher then this is required. The General Module is mostly for Skilled immigramt. Hope this helps.

hello! i have some questions regarding AOR:

- what does the AOR look like? is it an email or literally receipt?

- when you submit your application online how did you receive the AOR?
