Just a question: I scanned in all of my original documents without having any of them certified by a police office / lawyer / legal person etc. Should I have done this? All my documents were scans of the original in color. If this has to be done I can probably still do this as my application still shows "received" and I can update this online - what are your thoughts and what have you guys done? Do you think this will affect my case in any way ?

Hi guys, I just heard from my friend that he got a great opportunity in Vancouver, and he decided to move there next year. He is my supporter and the only friend I know in Winnipeg. I am afraid this means I will not be eligible for this application, right? Does anyone know how to deal with this problem? Many thanks. Now, I feel really sad, but it's hard for me to tell him how I feel, I have to support him cause he got a good job there, and the city is where he wanna live.

Now my status is received.

I am not 100% sure about that, maybe someone else comment if it is a MUST to have connection in Manitoba?

I know if you have a strong connection outside of Manitoba they may refuse because your intention might not to be to stay in Manitoba. Seeing that they already know about your friend they will probably find out he lives outside of Manitoba...

Ben, just persevere!

Since your application is already received let's pray that it will still be a successful one despite of your friend's decision to move... you have a very challenging Situation since you Need to have a Connection to MB, but let's just hope for the best!

any body else can get call from manitoba immig and my question that it is normal that applicant and sponsor both can interviewed
