Hello everyone.

I hope someone can help me with my question. I submitted my application online on October 31, 2013. When I reviewed my printed application, I noticed some things that needed to be corrected (i.e. my daughter's passport expiration and the amount in my settlement funds). I emailed mpnpsupporter regarding the corrections with the scanned copies of the passport and bank statements. My question is, will they honor my email or not? I am worried and at the same time I feel stupid to overlook such details in the application. :-[ :'(

By the way, here is my timeline:

Hello everyone.

I hope someone can help me with my question. I submitted my application online on October 31, 2013. Hi,

I just want to share this.

My aunt submitted her SP2 last October 22, 2013. But it bounced back because she compressed all the needed documents in a zipped file and MPNP does not receive zipped attachments. The next day(s) (i don't know exactly when) she emailed her SP2 to MPNP again. But she did not receive any Acknowledgment Receipt from them. She said, it did not bounce back so, (she guessed) they may have received the email.

Thankfully, I consulted a senior member here (tabs179, thanks very much) of the matter and he suggested for my aunt to inquire with MPNP if they have indeed receive the email.

Just yesterday, she went to the MPNP office and inquire and they told her that they have not received any email from her (or maybe it went into their Spam folder, just as their email re: my file number and acknowledgment receipt of my online application went into my spam folder, it was pure luck that I have scanned my spam folder before i have emptied them).

I guess luck was on my side yesterday because she brought her documents (SP2 and other pertinent docs) with her when she visited the office. So what they did was scan the documents, download and reflected them to my file number and all of these happened before the expiration of our application.

I hope this also sheds some light to other applicants.

Thank you for sharing this, there are so many applicants who find themselves in a dilemma of a rejected/denied application just because of a technical error. It seems quite unfair to be rejected/denied when people are complying to all their requirements.

I am so glad to know that your aunt was able to submit your SP2 and other documents on time. Luck favours you!
