So they haven't planned any ceremony from the 24th of may to the 19th of june. It's crazy, how come no other office slacks this much in the whole country ??

there seems to be one in 1st of June. Still this is really not enough for Montreal when there is so much backlog

I just found this Forum while I looking for answers on internet.

Here is my current situation, I finished my citizenship knowledge exam and interview on 21st of March. I checked my application status almost everyday, and it still shown as "Decision Made" for a while.

I'd like to ask if there is anyone who took the exam/interview as the same day as me. Does anyone(or anyone you know) receive oath invitation?

Hi everyone,

First time posting on this forum since July 2015 when I got my PR. I used the forum a lot back then so I thought I'd check it out now when I'm in a new process!

Unfortunately for me, already more than 2 months since DM and still waiting for the friggin email! So frustrating especially that I need to travel for a full month at the end of June. And what's even more frustrating is when you see people with applications received after you and/or with DMs after you getting the oath letter before. So much randomness ...

Anyway, here are my details:
Montreal office
Single applicant
# days: 1096
Sent: October 17, 2017
Received: October 19, 2017
ACK: December 12, 2017
IP: January 20, 2018
Test email: February 2, 2018
Test day: February 21, 2018
DM: March 15, 2018

I hope the Montreal office picks up its pace because it's much slower than other offices...

Sorry to hear about that! It took about 4 to 5 weeks for me to receive Decision Made message.

Hi Clyde,

Many people are getting their oath letter around 2 months (sometimes more) after the DM. So yeah you're still good. I had my test on Feb 21 and still waiting

I thought by July 1st I'll get my oath but I'm still in process, and if oath comes 2 month after dicison made so for sure I will be stuck forever

When I took my test, a lot of the applicants were still getting their letter around 1 month after the DM. So I was hoping for the same. Now, it's been more than 2 months since my DM, and still waiting... And given that some of the ceremonies scheduled jumped to June 19, I'm not even sure that I'll be here for the ceremony as I will be traveling on June 29... We'll see ...

Have you considered notifying then to not schedule your test in July?
Btw, you won't be able to travel (without problems) even if your oath is on June 23. They'll take away your PR card and it takes at least one week to get a passport.
