Merci [/ QUOTE]

on another forum online, someone received oath invite today :

Location : Montreal
App received : 21 november
Test : 22 march
DM: 24 march
invite to oath: May 15th
Oath: June 1st
There are no details on the other dates.

Again someone that took the exam second half of March and already received oath invite.... frustrating for many that took the test and got DM in Feb/early March
Thanks for the heads up about the 1st of June. Can you please post a link to the other forum?

Morning guys!
I had my oath yesterday and finally proudly canadian!
It’s been a long journey... almost 11 years... first came as an international student, then got a job here and applied for the RP in early 2012. Very lucky, at that time, buffalo office has been closed, my filed has been transfered to ottawa and took almost 2 years to get my RP. Thanks god!
And then, conservatives changed the citizenship law, so i had to wait 4 years instead of 3 and could not make count my time before RP. Its ok, shit happens... and then guess what? When i became eligible to apply for the citizenship in early october, they again changed the law! this time, for the best, i had 2 years of buffer period!
Meanwhile, got married to a ´´québécois de souche ´´ ( people from quebec would understand what i mean) , had a baby and my husband’s family did not really understand what my status was exactly in canada... missed a lot of familiy trip, cause im requested to have a visa for all over the world with my country’s passeport and mostly i did not have money or time for that....
Yesterday was the day, became canadian with 275 people from 50 different country and the judge said ´´ to be a canadian is for some, passeport and right to vote, and for others its having rights and freedom that you didnt have in your country of origin.. ´´ i can say, its both for me. Just to write somewhere your opinion about something without fear is awesome!
Anyways, i cut it short, its already too long. I just wanted to share my experience, remind me what i passed through and thank you guys to be with me in this very last stage of my journey. It has been more than appreciated.
I wish good luck to you all guys, your journey will also come to the end very soon.
Cheers!

Updated. Congrats!!
I have a question/suggestion regarding the spreadsheet. Why not order it by location first as the delay really vary from place to place?
(I know that's the first thing I do when I open it to check if there are new dates in Montreal for test)

Agree. There is no reason to look at what is happening in other offices. After the AOR, timelines are completely independent.
