i got scheduled for citizenship finally. I called IRCC last friday, and the agent was actually caring. She said that she saw my urgent request and that my application is over 8 months, so she'll email the office. 2 business days later, I got an oath scheduled. finally coming to an end. wishing everyone good luck and a speedy process!

I honesly have no idea, but I don't think they would've scheduled me for an oath since the agent said she didn't see an oath scheduled at the moment when i called

Still no movement on my application. IRCC had responded to my WEB form inquiry saying always the same thing that my application is in progress. I promised myself I will not reach out to IRCC again until the Fall (of course I hope I will get my Oath before then) and now I’m checking my tracker only twice a week. It’s less stressful for me this way LOL

Well, at least today I got a GU! I was sick to see “29 November 2023” as last update date I’m not holding my breath this will bring to anything! Let’s see.

Yes, it now says on the top: Last Update: 25 June 2024. Though if I scroll down everything is the same. That’s why they call it Ghost Update. Usually it means something happened in your file (it could be as easy as the agent putting new notes on your file)

I know, with IRCC nothing makes sense. That’s why I am not really excited about this GU as it may not mean anything at all.
