I reached out to Mississauga office twice for update on my application. Received same generic response on both emails saying that they have no updates to share at the moment and I should check my email regularly for updates!

Where did you get the email from? Did you just reply to your test email or did you use the email you found on this forum?

My file was transferred from Scarborough office. When I reached out to Scarborough office for updates, they told me my file was transferred to Mississauga office. Copied in the email was Mississauga office.

Okay. I used the email I found in the forum instead of replying to my test email. Now I am worried if that will be a problem. Is it okay to contact them like that?

My file got transferred in March from Scarborough to Mississauga after SCR asked for passports scans on March 1st, haven't heard back from IRCC since them. I have been calling and emailing and always getting the same answer, my application is in process and its a matter of time and patience. anyone with similar timeline knows what is going at Mississauga?

Hello Team,

I am an April 2022 applicant. I did a test in December 2022, and my background check got completed yesterday. Rest statuses are in progress.

Received test from Scarborough office but now as per ATIP notes the file is ready for review in Mississauga office. Anyone had a similar case of having background check stuck for a long time?

If yes, any idea when can I expect LPP to green and receive oath?

Any idea when your file moved to Mississauga? I have similar AOR and my file was moved to Mississauga someday in March, and nothing since then!

I just noticed that, although I had my interview in mississauga, the email for the interview came from scarborough, who I know have been processing it up until now, so now I am wondering who is actually dealing with my case.

Switching do happen between offices to manage backlog.
