Meds and Pp requested June 13th 2013
Submitted July 4th 2013
Meds received line July 20th 2013

The problem with my application is that I had stayed in canada for my studies so I have to submit RCMP pcc which I have sent to RCMP on june 16th 2013 and no reply has come from them yet. I have no idea what to do. I feel grounded because my passport is with NDVO for more than 2 months now and I have no clue whats going to happen to my case.

Hi,
I thought it was NOT necessary to submit police clearance from Canada, unless it is requested.
I have reproduced info from CIC website below:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/north-america/canada.asp

How to obtain a police certificate - Canada

Do I need to provide a police certificate when applying for permanent residence?
Only in certain cases. The Canadian visa office will tell you if you need a Canadian criminal record check while your application is being processed.

How and where do I obtain one?
If the visa office asks you to complete a criminal record check, visit the RCMP website for instructions.

THOSE WONDERING WHY GCMS SEC IS BLANK - HERE IS WT U NEED TO KNOW

depending on travel history - if GCMS indicates assigned to RC2C2 as an example - batch has been sent to CSIS - ON a B'F date - VO will inter-reference Sec report and review file for final determination on DM OR PPR accordingly - max SEC time - is 6 months from batch sent out date -

Panic button can be pressed only in scenarios if GCMS doesn't indicate assigned to status on security section

hope this helps
Hi Terki,
I have completed medicals and awaiting next step !
Since I have extensive travel record in my passport, do you think it will take more time for security clearance from other countries?
or is it the other way?
Appreciate your response,
thanks

Hi Guys,
I found : Copy of GCMS Global Case Management System GUIDE

all depends on how soon interlinked Embassy's respond to CSIS

max -6mths if due dates are followed -

not to forget some countries are manually processes and exit controls do take time - for them to report history on your travel

The strike just ended. Now that everything was in place, seniors please comment, is this good or bad? The temporary staff is, oh no! "was'' ten times more effective. Will the vo's make an effort to show their ability over temp staff by working even faster.
