MI1 Applicants: Medical & PP Submitted on Nov/Dec/Jan: Waiting for Visa Pls Join

Hi Friends,

A person is in Canada on a valid workpermit. And his PR processing in parallel is happening from Canadian Consulate in India (as dependent to principal applicant - mother). Now Canadian Consulate in India asks for the passport (from mother as principal applicant and all dependents) there to stamp the first entry visa (for PR). But since dependent is in canada, he cannot sent passport to Canadian Consulate in India. What should be the valid options? Rather than going back to india and submitting passport there and then coming back once passport is received.

Please advice.

Hi,
I have read in one of the threads that, if you are applying for PR in Canada, the applicant and dependents should be out of Canada, during the Visa stamping period.
Dont know how much true is this statement. Please check with seniors in the forum.

U can contact the local Canadian embassy for the province u stay and check with them...

After waiting for a year, Yesterday I got Passport with the stamp of maple leaf by the grace of God.

Hi Dear All

After 4 years and 8 months, 2 medicals I received My Visa yesterday ......

Thanks for all the support, guidance and positive suggestions from all of you through out this long long painful journey...

All backlogers keep faith in God and you Visas will reach you soon....and let us all be in Canada by 2015....

fyi...I send my passports on 4th of Nov
