WAITING FOR VISA AFTER MEDICAL PLZ JOIN THIS THREAD

just an update, i a case specific inquiry to buffalo last friday asking if they have received my medicals

we got a reply today, it says -

We have received the results of your medical exam.

Your application is in process. We are unable to provide a date when the processing of your application will be complete.

standard reply as usual, but at least i know that they have our medicals already. i'm guessing they are now doing security/background checks

Only SECURITYcheck is going now. Background check is done before medicals.

our medical sent by DM june 12, then my youngest need some test due to speech delay and they sent the result in aug 2. we recieved our ppr oct 3, its 43 days.

How to order your immigration file notes CAIPS

If you are overseas, someone else (a Citizen, Permanent Resident, or someone physically present in Canada) will have to obtain them for you under the Access to Information Act. This can be a relative, friend or sponsor, or a commercial service. For this there is a $5 fee (more if you use a commercial service), and you will have to provide consent.
