Hello everyone. Is anyone a Honduran? If so how long did it take for the Canadian embassy in Mexico takes to approve the spousal application.

According to the timelines in the Mexico spreadsheet you can expect between 8-12 months total application time, for an uncomplicated application, which includes both spousal sponsorship approval and PR applicant approval. Just the Mexico portion would be approx. 6 - 10 months.

LovelyComplex, did you have your PGR report translated into english??

Hi Canzanillo, yes i did i sent it to a certified translator.

Made a small change to the spreadsheet...

I have moved the "ECAS PR Application status" column to between SA approval and AOR2 columns.

With the recent updates many have received, it may be that ECAS will become more relevant going forward reflecting more accurate status of the application.

Speedy Processing!

Thanks, just wanted to confirm. There is still some doubt about whether one needs to translate it, but better safe than sorry. I am trying to plan ahead a little as I will be travelling to Canada soon and a PGR request may come while I'm away. I want to leave good instructions for my wife... ;)

Speedy Processing!

México hasmu husband's police certificate now!!! Hopefully things go fast from here!!

Just wondering during if anyone knows about the visa requirements for the US? We would have to travel through Houston so I think we would have to apply for a transit visa for him? Is that right or will him going through there to land in Canada be all he needs to prove with his passport?

Hello Canadahonduras1234. I'm being sponsored by my Wife. We just submitted our app on August 26. Can you help us out with the stages to come? We did medical upfront. How's it going for you and your husband? Are you guys almost finish?

Another minor change to the spreadsheet made tonight. I added "Police Report" to the "PGR Sent" heading, so that it is not exclusive to Mexico applicants.

Speedy Processing!
