And I am again seeing a lot of movement for the skilled worker applicants... But it won't be long until you guys January applicants start receiving emails! Maybe next week of early September it will be your turn I hope. Fingers crossed that soon enough they'll be sending stuff! Good luck to all!!

Well guess what?

I just checked our application status in ECAS and it has changed from "Application Received" to "In Process"!! ;D 8)

I last checked it the week before last, around the 11th or 12th, sometime after Tuesday when they do updates! I didn't expect that!

Maybe that's a good sign and means they are now reviewing our application. With luck we will receive AOR2 soon!! I don't want to get my hopes too high though...

Here's hoping!

I remain cautiously optimistic that we will get AOR2 soon. We are excited that stage 2 may have begun! We'll see how this plays out.

My philosophy is; Keep your expectations low so that CIC can easily surpass them! ;D 8)

Hi everyone! I'm happy to hear that some of you are getting news from Mexico!

My passport should be here in Calgary tomorrow, Mexico office sent it on Monday and UPS sent me a notification to my e-mail
Now I'm filling in forms for applying to the US visa, our plan is going to Montana and come back to Alberta to do the landing. Traveling is expensive for me because I can't stop in the US and al the cheap options have a stop in the US, also hubby is working so we can go to far...

I'm nervous because they have rejected my visa application two times in the past I hope that this time will be different... any advice is welcome!

I let you know as soon as I get my passport in my hands.
