Great news vene1234!! Nice start to September!

176 days from SA to AOR2! You have the dubious honor of being the spreadsheet record holder for longest wait SA to AOR2! ;) 8) ;D

I am anticipating taking over that record some time this month :'( :p ;)

Looks like smooth sailing for you now!

Speedy Processing!

Wow amazing job Canzanillo ! And really 80 people to process all those applications is really not that much... i guess that only 4 people are working on spousal applications hahaha ... no wonder they'redelayed. I was thinking in the whole in process situation. Now i believe that what's really representative is that 3rd line that says when they started working. I also saw yesterday at the bottom of the page on ecas something that says "last day updated". One week ago mine said June 16, not it's Aug 17th. I hope this means sth. It's soooo frustrating seeing our spreassheet without any changes. I hope soon enough they're start sending stuff! Which they shoud .. january applicants are now on their 8th month...
I would have expected that staffing levels would have increased over the last 3.5 years, but it doesn't appear to be the case as processing time at MCVO is now up to 18 months and AOR2 wait times are at historical spreadsheet highs now hovering around 6 months! :(

Vene1234, could you please tell us what your eCAS says about your application? What date did they start processing it?

What does the "date modified" say in the bottom right-hand corner of the status window. How many lines does the status show? Medicals received?

Thanks!

Hi everybody,

I am new in this site and I will like to contribute and share my experience in applying for PR so hopefully can be helpful to somebody and also I will like to be included in the spreadsheet but I don't know how to do it, can somebody help me?. My name is Jessica from Mexico and I am married to a Canadian guy. I sent my application outbound on March 17th, 2014 and I got an email on April 23rd from CIC that they received my application on March 17th, then I got another email on May 21st that my husband was approved as my sponsor and I went to check my application online last week and it says that they started working in my application on August 21st. I think it is moving quite decent. The only thing is that I came to Toronto on May 23rd and my permit to stay here will expire on Nov 23rd so I am hoping to apply for an extension that I hope I can get so I can stay here until my application gets approved. What is worrying me is that when they ask me for my PGR police background I would be able to get it through my mom or a 3rd person because I wont be in Mexico, one question, has anybody taken fingerprints in Toronto? How long it takes to get them done? Where I can get them? I just want to be prepared for when the time comes so I can do it as fast as possible.
Thank you and good luck to everybody in their applications.

Welcome Jessica! Glad to have you here. I would be happy to add you to the spreadsheet. Thanks for sharing your timeline with our little, or perhaps, big family here. Please fill in the following formato as detailed as possible and I will add you. I may have a question or 2 to clarify your information.

I am not the most qualified to answer your question about getting fingerprints in Toronto, other to say I'm pretty sure you can. Someone will surely chime in here to answer your question. As another option, if you go back some pages in this forum I believe there has been some discussion about that topic. You are not the only applicant who applied outland but is in Canada with your spouse. ;)

There is information here: http://www.pgr.gob.mx/datosregistrales/Paginas/default.aspx regarding Constancia de datos registrales and designating someone to retrieve it for you.

I found this post from last month;

Hi Lovely Complex,

I did take the fingerprints here in canada is $100 for 2 copies, then you have to take passport pictures 3 front and 3 right side no makeup no earrings nothing, here the price is $60 so I will better bring the pictures from Mexico, and then just your passport photocopy. Then, since the finger prints are in a big folder and cant be fold you will need to pay DHL Or fedex $100 to send it to Mexico, here you can see all details of what you need for the crimanl record if you are in Canada. There is no need of any prove of address or carta poder..... I am in the process of that at this moment and this is what the embassy sent me cause they do the procedure for you.

Please provide the following original police certificate for you:
Federal Police Certificate (Constancia de Antecedentes Registrales) issued by the Procuraduría General de la República (PGR) *Mexican state police certificates will not be accepted.
To obtain the Federal police certificate issued by the PGR an official signed letter is being sent via e- mail today.
For more information, please visit: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/index.asp
AND

If you live outside Mexico, please visit:

Good luck!!!

Hello, in regard with the PGR police record you should go to take the fingerprints to the local police or to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), I personally recommend the last option. The process is very simple, and normally the process takes 1 - 3 days. I don't remember if it cost money ???

I hope this can help you!!!
