We are still waiting to receive hubby's passport back from D.F. The wait is EXCRUCIATING!!! It was one week last Friday! Can't imagine what is holding everything up. Especially since they only have 33 apps process. What gives?!?!?
In my experience the return package doesn't always show up on tracking right away. So it might be on its way. Otherwise one week isn't very long but I understand how hard it is to wait! You'll get it soon!

And there are lots of apps in process. Hundreds. Edit: 296 apparently! =)

And way more if you consider other PR applications and visitor applications ;)

I find that often times courier shipments will show up late in the day as they get scanned onto the depot or plane (if you don't specifically ask them to scan it at pick up/drop off). Hopefully you get it very soon Americana in T.O. and that I didn't just wear your mouse out further.

ETA: at least for FedEx or UPS

We used FedEx. Their service seems to be pretty consistent (but expensive).

Has anybody had responses to case specifics recently? How long was your turnaround time?

Yes. I had 2 within the last few weeks.
The first was in 2 weeks exactly.
And the second was in 10 days.
:)

Alrighty then. I'm clocking the one sent yesterday that included new FBI clearance and correspondence.

Hi everyone!!

OMG OMG!! I'm shaking!!! Just received AOR from Mexico AND!! request for police certificates and also the pics I forgot to include in the original package!!! I can't believe it I'm in shock!!!

Does anyone know if it means they have waived the interview???

The letter also says that they mailed a signed letter to request the Federal police certificate boooo!!! I put down my address so it's coming to BC, I don't think we're ever gonna get that... they requested we pay the permanent residence fee too, do you think if I order the notes on the file it will show if the interview was waived?

Thanks guys!

Congratulations! Usually they review the application before requesting the police certificates so likely yes :) However, as you know, it's not over until it's over...

It will take several weeks to get the PGR request letter (they are known to use regular mail). Is the applicant in Mexico (or Canada)?

Re the RPRF, e-mail a copy of the payment to CPC-M so it is processed - you can use the links off of http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/sponsor/spouse-apply-after.asp

Your GCMS notes would confirm that the interview was waived so far (however, in general, I would encourage folks not to overuse it so that they don't close down / slow down the option for folks that really, really need it).

Thank you!!! The applicant is in Mexico I filled out one of the representatives form and put my address, I'm guessing I should've left the Mexico one on, oh well... I won't request the notes, it's not fair for others like u mentioned just to fulfill my curiosity hehe. I've been reading through the posts about the police certs, is there a way to get the federal one without the letter?
