Hi. Small question : after sponsorship approval i understand that the requedt and the whole documentation is forwarded to visa office in mexico. What is the correct order ? Applicant will receive aor from the visa office? Then after what comes next ? Police certificates or interview if needed). ? what scares the hell to me is that it is a hell of a job for my wife to get to the Df each time having to travel by plane... And she does not feel safe to travel alone....

Yes the applicant will get the AOR. And at the same time they will probably say they are sending the letter so you can get the PGR certificate. I´m not sure if the interview comes before or after the police certificate request...technically they can ask you for an interview at any time during the process.

Did you alreay get the certificate from the Secretaria de seguridad publica? that´s a new requirement so it would save time if you go get it, and send it in before they even ask for it.

In the interest of pro-activity (is that even a word?) my hubby is going to get the SSP. With the meds now redone and the new FBI in the works, I think that will bring all of our documents current. We are sooooooo praying for good news before summer is out. All crossables are crossed.

Good!

Just make sure he knows they've moved (the Xola address posted online isn't correct)

Hey guys I just wanted to let u guys know that we got our ppr request today :) I am so happy, finally we will be together.. I did not post too much but not a single day goes by when I don't read your posts.. This is the best place where you get to learn so much.. Believe it or not but when we hired a lawyer for the same purpose and applied inland, my hubby got denied and this time I did everything with the help of this forum and thank god, everything went well... A big thanks to all of you..

Did they request your husband's FBI letter or are you being proactive?

Damn right this is our batch! ;) My dad just called me to let me know that my uncle already received my FBI record request :D So he'll be mailing it out today or tomorrow.

Awesome, that's not too bad. I'm still wondering how/if they're processing my ARC. They haven't asked me anything about it and I'm really hoping I don't need to submit one as that would just add unnecessary time to my process. I guess I'll find out in a few weeks!

Proactive. A week or two before Edgar's was requested, we decided to go ahead and get it updated given our propensity for hitting snags. Even if it turns out not to be needed, it helps a little to feel as though we are doing *something* to speed things up.
