I applied in Dec. 2010, sent the police checks to the embassy in February; I had no translations done except for a personal letter from me mum.
I am thinking it will be ok to send the documents without translation. They had information saying not to translate documents in english, spanish or french. They told me the same in an email. So, i will take a chance. Thanks for the info.

It is only in the case you don't get the letter by "regular mail". Without the official request from the Embassy you can not get the constancia.

Keep in mind that if you are in Canada the Mexican Embassy can assist on this request.

Can anyone be so kind to point me into the right direction of where I can read about flagpole landing, or Just answer this question(s) for me:

- Can one do a flag pole landing if they do not have a visitor visa for the US?

If yes,

- Does anyone know if being rejected from doing a flagpole landing will be used against a future applicant if he tires to apply for a visitor visa to America?

Thanks!

You do not need visa for flagpole landing to the US.

I did it 4 yrs back without a visa.

The officers at the border are familiar with this. Just tell that you need to land.
They will direct you to the US embassy which will give us a document denying entry to US and then you will go to the canadian embassy to complete your landing.

This will not affect any US visa applied later as this is an official process. I have 10yrs US visa now.

Well I just logged into eCas for the first time in months. Not sure whether I should be buying into the various theories on the forum surrounding eCas blips, but...my husband's address has now 'disappeared'. Basically, I'm thinkin': false hope is better than no hope LOL

Just do a search on "address disappear" and you'll come up with all sorts of goodies :)
e.g. http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/-t81304.0.html

If nothing else, its an amusing way to pass the time. I put about as much weight to it as I do Rob Ford actually passing a feasible transit plan in Toronto :)

Adding to the intrigue .... check out PMM's reply #4771. I guess at least this means someone dusted off the application and took a look at it today.
