Ours was much less - meds done early April, passport request June 1st, and that's with the police check submission in the middle of that time period, too. For permanent resident applications, it normally takes 3 months after our medical office receives the medical examination results from the Designated Medical Practitioner before we will contact you regarding the next stage of your application. This is true only if you have already complied with our other requests (e.g. to submit other documents).

I had a PR dream last night where I showed up for my partner's interview in Mexico City instead of him because the interview was requested after he got his PR card. Everyone was using typewriters and paper files, it was bizarre.
