    I was with her, it was an older lady...quite mean type...I made a joint account now (they only made it at BMO as she hadd the immgrant visa stamp on her passport), Hopefully it will be fine.

    Big issue: We got PPR (2 weeks ago) and immigrant visa back (yesterday), we went to the rainbow bridge to land. The immigration officer asked us for a joint bank account statement (we never had a joint bank account), She said she will call cic mexico city and verify why did we get approved etc...

    It is not the initila approval, that was done in November, this is after the constancia submission.

    Status changed online: We received YOUR application for permanent residence on September 30, 2011. We started processing YOUR application on May 7, 2012. Hopefully PPR soon.

    We submitted constancia on 22 march and no reply yet from Mexico. I thought PPR took 3-4 weeks only after constancia. What is going on???

    Thank you, yes it would look awkward, i did file the income tax with her name on it as common law, i will send that and the stat declaration and the letter from friends, let's see what happens

    I do not have any insurance or bank statement in her name as she was on a visitor visa for 1 yr when we were living together. All I have is a letter from the condo management saying we lived together since Oct 2010. Before that I was living in a basement and that landlady is not giving me any...
