Just a small question regarding fbi background check:
i finally got my fingerprints done with the pgr in tijuana...

But unofficialy because as taking fingerprints is not one of the
Services they usually offer... (it's not their own forms) the agent did not signed the form.
Is there a problem here is not signed by the fingerprint agent?

I called fbi support line and the guy who answered to me just says
That i can even take them by myself whar do you think ??

I had to send my fingerprints to the fbi too, I went to the police office here with the form I printed from the fbi website. They took them for me real quick but they also printed an official letter explaining they did the process.

I don´t know what they really need but if they took them for you I think you´ll be fine

Sorry I have been missing I have had a crazy week but very excited because I get to see my husband tomorrow!

TsauretBaxter - We still dont have our PGR my husband went for it last Thursday they told him 10 "business days" I dont think thats right... but he called yesterday and today and they just keep telling him to call later. Our 60 days is up mid September so he better get it early next week. He also received his original letter in the mail but it was well over 30 days later.

LeisaP- We had the same problem my husband had all the docs ready for the PGR then when he got there his birth cert would have only been ok up untill 2011. So his mom in Mexico City was able to get it for him in 1 day and she sent it to him by DHL.
I think from what I have read you have it all under control now.
In general stay far away from REDPACK we had a really hard time with them. They only like to send out shipments on Mon Wed and Fri it was a mess.. my husband ended up having to go to THEM to get his package. Also i guess because they are only in Mexico (although every mexican person in canada i asked had never heard of redpack) there phone number doesnt work from Canada so I couldnt even call them to yell at them. Not that I can speak spanish but i would have felt better yelling at them even if they didnt understand me they gave us such stress!LOL

Yes!! i have heard bad things, my husband works for an import export company that ships all around the world and he knows about redpack and he hates them! he says that no companies he works with will ever ship redpack. so im sort of glad we found another solution. Otherwise im sure something was bound to go wrong.

Omg i have nightmares thinking of my attempts with calling DHL although there service is amazing. Calling them is a challenge! There recording says press # for English. On my last experience the person answers in Spanish and when I start speaking English they say they are going to transfer my call. They I get thrown into a vicious circle of people listening to me repeat my question and then transferring my call again and again. I finally said to one man LOOK BUDDY you will not transfer this call and YOU WILL answer my question I am calling from Canada!. All I wanted was a rate 

Finally someone who has heard of redpack and go figure they have a bad reputation and my immigration consultant was the one who used Redpack for the prepaid waybill for the PGR (without my knowledge). Our PGR has been a mess from the beginning starting with my immigration consulting taking 7 days to contact me after our letter was issued on July 20th which caused us to lose a week in our already tight timeline.

Sounds like you have a good plan for the PGR let us know how it goes.
Do you know what the processing time is for your state office?
I thought the Cancun one was 5-7 but my husband says 10

They say they speak English but i bet they only have like 1-2 people working that speak english in the office, thats why they kept passing you around trying to find someone who could understand! lol i Would have said the exact same thing if it was me calling!.

Yes Agreed I think doing anything to do with mexican authority in these past 5 months have been the most stressful processes of my entire life! my husband feels the same way, he gets so mad everytime someone tries to run him around in a circle. :-\

I dont think I would ever send anything important through anyone except dhl or fedex, i wonder why your consultant chose redpack when dhl is more known worldwide and very reliable.
That sounds like a headache!

no im not sure how long the processing time at our state office is, but im hoping its fast,
because when we went to get the precartilla we got it the same day and the other state offices took like 15 days or something to issue it. so im hoping we get lucky and the pgr is quicker aswell.

I heard cancun was 10 aswell.

Boo. I was really hoping to get them in today but I guess one more day isn't going to be so bad.. We can't win em' all.. Lets just be thankful theyre almost done. On a side note, I am making tacos and a chocoflan for dinner tonight AND I bought some Sol as a surprise for the hubby since hes been feeling a little homesick. Ready for the long weekend 8)
