I am sponsoring hubbie from the usa and he is getting his medicals done next week. Do I get paperwork to send in or does the dr office do this...is a little confusing. Also, we are waiting on some paper work to complete our application as well...so am wondering since our application is not totally done, would it be better to wait a bit to do medicals or is ok to have medicals done and then send application in about 2 weeks?

1. The DMP will give him a receipt for the medical exam, which is enclosed with the application.
2. The medical is valid for a year, so putting the medical off for 2 weeks is not necessary.

Great, thanks! Does $300 for the medical in BC sound fair price?

:o It must be up to each Province I guess. Although I heard medicals in Canada are so much cheaper than in the States. I think I paid 325. Another one wanted to charge me about 400 bucks.
