Dear diode ji,

how did you send your passports thru VFS or direct courier to CIC? If thru VFS then you can track with them (But i assume you did not send thru VFS). If you sent it thru post, it is still not late enough for you to worry so much. Just keep the post guy in loop that you are expecting your passports. usually they will not send the passports back in 1 or 2 trips. And in case they have returned them back, you will be able to find them out at CIC after calling them at the call center nos.

Having said that, I still emphasize, it is still just 6 days, people have got in 20-25 days time frame too... so for now there is nothing to worry unless your medicals are expiring soon.

hi, all members i got DM on 16th feb. but due to some very urgent work i was out of station that's why i report it late to forum.i supposed to get my

passport back but till now i haven't receive my passport,it's already 6 days i am in tension what to do or not, on daily basis i visit postoffice but no

result.i saw some members who got DM after me got their passport,even those members got DM on 20th feb. they also got their passport.Members

seriously this is a big problem for me, i don't know what to do or not? i am in stage.please someone guide me what action

should i take at this moment.due to official work i have to go Australia on 25th feb. if i unable to go Australia then i will be in big trouble and huge

financial loss, so plzzzzz help me in this situation.

The University officials have confirmed that your degree is not genuine. As a result, I have reasonable grounds to believe that you have misrepresented your education in order to meet the selection criteria as a skilled worker to Canada.

Before a decision is made in your case, I am providing you with the opportunity to comment on the above concern or provide any observation or explanation in writing.

You have thirty (30) days from the date of this letter to respond to our concerns. At that time a decision may be made on your application based on the information on file.

Can someone please help and share the solution... my degree is genuine.

Which University was that, does the university has some web page to check the authenticity of the Degrees conferred.
if yes, then check by putting your details.

if there is nothing to check online,

Go to the University, Not to the college, ask for certified copy of Mark Sheets and Degree certificates, duly attested by Controller of examinations or Registrar to be sent to NDVO in Sealed Envelop by University Authorities, Don't forget to mention your file no as part of address.
If you know some body working in University, they can issue them to you by hand.

Remember Attested copies by controller/register in Sealed Envelop.

Write a Letter explaining this to your Visa Officer.

eg. Punjab University Chandigarh has form on their web site for this ( http://forms.puchd.ac.in) go to Forms then General Forms » Application form for Transcripts/Verification/Attestation . They charge some rs400+rs400 for postage

I applied in feb, 2010 and my my CIC office is in NDVO and after waiting for years i got this response.

Educational assessment was required that time however i may apply now for assessement but the process may not complete with in 30days.

tomorrow i will be visiting my college with this letter and request them to help me out.

If my college is sending details directly to CIC NDVO will they accept and reconsider or not??? please share if someone went thru similar situation...

will post further updates shortly.

I am afraid, clarification/information sent by ur college will not suffice. U have to contact the concerned university through ur college.Transcripts issued by the University ,under sealed cover with authenticated dispatch control no., may only serve ur purpose.

Massage posted by u the other day suggested that Chc, New Delhi, cross checked the genuineness of the testimonial from the Univ.which had awarded u the degree.

Since it was only the College which was contacted for the verification,matter is relatively easier to sort it out.

Now, u may write to VO in a very soft language ,under reference to their letter, enclosing the certified copies of letter/email written directly by the college.

Hope, this may suffice VO'S clarification.
