Please check the CIC website for application processing times, no one can predict it for your case. For what I can say is wait and watch, it has just been transferred so definitly you will not get it within next 2 months or so, it takes time. For most of us here, it took more then 3 years, though it is getting faster now a days but still takes a year or so.

I m a silent reader of this thread since last one year. I had a telephonic interview from the canadian embassy on 4th feb 2014. They asked everything very minutely about my company and my job duties. They even spoke to my boss for about half an hour. Most of facts told by me and boss were same except for one or two . Can anyone tell me that they will ignore those ponits or not. If anyone too had this kind interview then kindly send your valuable comments. It will be a real moral booster. Also how long they usually take in sending medicals after interview.

Please do not worry,everything will be fine.

Try listing out the questions u nd ur boss were asked by the Caller(JUNIOR LEVEL OFFICER ASSIGNED UR FILE FOR PART OF BG CHECK) from NDVO. I am sure,he must have introduced himself before the questioning started. Most of them may be covering general information submitted by u in the IMM FORMS,especially BACK GROUND/DECLARATION FORM. Answer to such questions by u nd ur Boss must not be contradictory. If terminology used to answer a particular question(s) is different, it may not have ANY impact.

Please note that only very few are subjected to personal/telephonic interview.Personal interview is basically meant for cross checking applicant's reaction wrt to authenticity of docs submitted earlier on nd .if at all ,he/she has any additional information/doc to support it.Where as telephonic interview covers the border line cases,generally job related queries.

1. Its normal - No issues if 95 % matches - No issues
2. Generally it takes 90 to 120 days from interview to Medicals

Thanks for the reply. It will be very nice if make me understand what do you meant by borderline cases.
Actually mine is an arranged employment case. My file was transferred to ndvo in feb 2013 and as mentioned in ecas they started processing from 27th jan 2014.
