Finally I got my Stamped passport with visa on 22 Feb 2014 exact 3 year of my application submission on 22 Feb 2011

On 17th feb i got an e-mail from NDVO that they will soon send my passport back for PCC.
Till date I didn't get my passport.
do anyone have any idea what is the meaning of SOON for NDVO people.
I check with local post office they said it takes max 2-3 days via speed post.
My medical is going to expire in april last week.

Do you have your passport with you?
If yes then try to submit PCC as well.

Considering that u recvd. email on Feb 17-2014,carrying the massage to the effect that ur passport would be sent back for issue PCC,U should have got it by now, I reckon. VO normally sends docs under registered cover. If u do not get it within the next two days, U may send a reminder in this regard.

No worries,please.calling for PCC at this stage,suggests that it's mere formality nd u should be through all the remaining stages of BG .As and when the required doc reaches VO, final decision will be made on ur file.

Meanwhile,please see if photocopy of ur PPT facilitates issue of PCC.

Dear parhar51 ji,

I send them reminder but not reply.
I tried very hard to convince police to provide the PCC without passport.
I even showed them the color xerox but they say only valid passport is required.
I told them that my passport is at NDVO. so they replied then ask them to return.
Then i wrote to NDVO and i got the reply the same day that they will soon return the passport.
but still i am waiting.

Dear vats Thanks for trying to help me.
first I went to police commissioner office.
they said go to local police station and bring the filled up form from them.
they give me advise that without passport they might not issue but in case they issue then also when you come to collect the PCC we need passport.
without passport we will not give you PCC so you better ask NDVO to return your passport.

one more thing PVC is only for passport enquiry
in case of immigration you must present PCC. that is what police officer said upon enquiry.

I am worried that, why is it taking so long for NDVO to send the passports back? I am loosing calm now. I got DM on 16th Feb and still no news from the visa office. I sent my passport by courier and not by vfs. Those who have sent through vfs know their status but I don't know anything.
I go to the post office everyday, and come back home with a sad face. Now I think post man is going to loose patience as everyday he says NO to me.
People in this forum are getting passport within 2 to 3 days after getting DM. In my case, ten days have already passed away and no good new so far. ??? ??? ??? I don't know what to do now Cry. I need your suggestion. Kindly let me know what should be the next step.
