We recieved a passport request email this morning. Since the wife already landed in Canada last month on TRV, we reached out letting IRCC know she is in Canada and she will have a virtual landing.

COPR document number and expiry date is now shown on the status tracker

Hi everyone, new here. I need ur help. I have applied for my husband’s spousal sponsorship outland for canada on june 13,2023. In our PR tracker it says everything is completed and we also got the pre-arrival on november 1 and copr document on november 9 updated in tracker. Does anybody have an idea how long it can take till we receive Passport request? I am stressed. Your help is appreciated

why are you stressed? your application is being processed very quickly. It's only been 5 months.

No news since AOR received on September 14th for our application submitted on May 31st.

Wow, your eligibility completed over 2 months back. Still background verficiation has not completed. Have you lived in couple of countries or any close family member is in Canada or US?

Naah I applied for my spouse, he is in India and have not been to any other country. We also wonder for our timeline. But still hoping for the best someday soon

Nothing to worry about. The good thing is, they have transferred it to New Delhi. From what I have seen on this forum, once its transferred to the home VO, you will hear back from VO pretty soon. And it seems to be the time - 6 months, approaching 7th, from the date of application. Just hang in there - CIC is going to amazon your hubby soon, just not with Prime Delivery

Transfer to VO doesn't mean that will be an interview. Not ALL get transferred but some do and it's normal.

I'm booking my biometric appointment (outside of my country of residence - no VAC here), I'll have it in about 2 weeks. So, we see what happens afterwards.

He is a US asylum seeker. The file was in the Mississauga office till date and we just just transferred to New York. Initially it was in Canada. So can you tell or do u know the possible reason behind it!!

Hi my file also changed from Mississauga to NY - husband is US citizen. We applied Feb 13th, 2023 and got the file was transferred letter on October 11th, 2023.
