we just received the “invitation to pre-arrival services” letter and medical shows passed too. It also says something about final decision, does anyone know what it means?

“Latest update:
Final decision: december 4, 2023: your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.”

eligibility and background check still show in progress.

May be it means the application is in its final stages.

Same thing is shown in my IRCC Portal. However, on my PR tracker, eligibility and background verification has been completed and the COPR Details have been updated since December 8th. Till date, I still have received my COPR Document itself

Does anybody know, once you receive eCOPR or Pre-arrival, or Visa stamping request, what is the time frame granted for you to migrate ? or you can travel anytime you want, whether it may be a year later ?

Your question is confusing. Pre-arrival is not a "stage" before you become PR. It's just information for new PR.
eCORP will only be issued for someone who is ALREADY in Canada.

PPR with visa stamping request will return with your passport with the visa to land with an expiration date. It's usually 1 year from your medical exam. (I think it's the exam date not the date when IRCC pass the medical exam result)

We recieved a passport request email this morning. Since the wife already landed in Canada last month on TRV, we reached out letting IRCC know she is in Canada and she will have a virtual landing.

COPR document number and expiry date is now shown on the status tracker

Got SA approval in the mail today ( as a letter and not an email even though my application was online) dated August 2nd. We are still waiting for medicals (have previous biometrics from Trv application, hopefully they don’t request a new one). Application sent to Vienna for further processing.
