Oath - Not Started
Ghost Update - 20 October 2023

When I logged in for the first time in the morning it was showing "4 new updates" in the Activity section. But, when I logged for the second time then its NOT showing text "4 new updates". Last Updated date is still 20 October 2023. What can I expect next? Also, I do have a travel plan on 4 Dec 2023. Do you think I would be able to get my oath and Passport? Please advise.

I recently had my interview. The officer said everything else looks fine and I should wait for my background check to complete. My LPP was checked completed. I applied in May. Any one has idea how long Background typically takes or anyone has had any experience as mine?

@IPULL got a response back from my MP saying that my Knowledge, security and criminality passed but Language and residency assessments have not started yet.
It's just ridiculous that the easiest thing is what's being delayed.
Oh well.... the wait continues.

There's an in person ceremony in Edmonton on the 24th. I hope you can get that. Try sending an email to the Vancouver office and also the email that sends the oath and ask if you can join that. WST-CitizenshipClient-Notification@cic.gc.ca and IRCC.WestCitizenshipEApp-EappOUESTCitoyennete.IRCC@cic.gc.ca

Yes I selected e-certificate, I even got email with instructions. I did OATH in-person and they told me that I will be able to download the e-certificate.

Maybe there is some confusion. Call IRCC and check with them.

I have received letter for finger prints on 6th oct, and I have submitted my finger prints on 10th but I was checking the tracker today and it still says Submit your fingerprints. Can someone let know how long does it take and is there any way to track that RCMP has already submitted/sent the report. As i did it through the third party (Canadian Fingerprinting Services Inc. ), not sure how can I follow up with the RCMP or anyone who can provide me the status. checking here if anyone has already gone through this timeline and status already updated.
