As I remember, on the online application there is an option to select how do you wanna get the citizenship certificate and ceremony as online in person. I choose in-person ceremony and receive the citizenship certificate physically. I did not change anything since I lodged the online application. How did you switch from online to in person?
Typically, people have been receiving their Oath invites anywhere from a few days to a month and a half after all other processes are marked as complete. So I do not believe you would have to wait for that long. I know of a couple of cases where the invite was sent after three months.Hi everyone,
My AOR is 20 June, I completed everything except Citizenship ceremony, it's NOT STRARTED status. Last update was on 18 Sep., online application, Sydney. The official processing time is 18 months, so I was wandering if I have to wait more than an year for the ceremony? Any ideas?
Congratulations.Ohh okay. I was not sure how long I would have to wait for the email, but got it a few minutes back. Thank you.
You must've forgotten that question, because its in the application (Question 17). I don't think they ask you, they confirm your option selected- maybe at that point you can say you want an e-certificate and they will send you the email with the instructions?Sorry to bug you again!! So I got the invite with zoom link and seat number…! I’ve read on Facebook that some ppl get instructions how to download their certificate because they indicated in their application they wanted the e-certificate! I don’t recall being asked such question when I applied. From what you’re saying is that the officer at the ceremony will ask what I prefer? Please be patient with me, lol
Thank you so much, I really don't recall that question. Thanks againYou must've forgotten that question, because its in the application (Question 17). I would call as soon as possible and ask if they can send you an invitation to create your profile for the e-certificate. Basically you need this - CIT 0090, call and ask for that specific document. The yellow arrow points to your personal invitation code that you need to setup the profile.
Thank you so much, just sent an email and they sent it right away!! Got the instructions!!You must've forgotten that question, because its in the application (Question 17). It's an independent activity.I am a PR applying for citizenship soon. Does marital status have any impact on citizenship application if you are just applying for yourself? My fiance is an Indian citizen.
