What did you write in your email to MP or webform? did you have an urgency? I have my test and BG completed on August and nothing after that!

How did your oath ceremony go? Any issues since LPP is still in progress and oat not started in tracker?

I don't think anybody from May 2023 in Scarborough processing office had LPP completed yet. If you aware of anybody who has LPP completed from May 2023 applicants let me know.

Scarborough office has to be the slowest out there. Apparently their average time for LPP to complete after the background check completion is 3 months. Meanwhile every other office is 1 month or less.

Niagara office, 11 weeks after BG and counting. Test completed July 18.

I just said I am planning a vacation in November and that everyone in my household is Canadian except of me.

Citizenship test given: July 10 2023 (Never received email, just logged in)
Citizenship test completed: July 11 2023 (Updated on July 13 2023 on the portal)

Everything else is in progress and the ceremony has not started yet. No update since July 13th.

I have seen that it takes long for Background check to complete if there is a fingerprint process involved. How come they never asked me and why is it taking too long? I only left the country twice for vacation during my eligibility period. I never committed a crime or anything lol

Test completed on 31st aug but still not updated in tracker.. anyone have an idea how long it will take to reflect on portal?

it was zoom for us and we got only 2 emails for Oath..one is instructions for Oath and other one is how to use Portal for certificate download.

Thank you for sharing your experience. Most people receive Zoom link but mine will be held by MS teams...... in MS teams invitation, it confirms I can only simply click the link but in technical insturctions letter, it says I need to set up 2 meetings... confused...

I think Scarborough office is working through April Applications for now and May will kick in next week or the following week. I applied May 19, AOR June 19, Test given August 1 (updated on August 3) - and no update since than!

Yes, my wife did her oath last Thursday.

My wife applied May 5, she took he oath last Thursday. Scarborough office but did in person in Mississauga.
