I always wondered why the PNP applications are slower than the other FSW applications, even tho they already passed a first verification from the province.
Agreed, especially as they seem to be very much aligned, e.g. I got the PNP as I was in the FSW category. Nonetheless, I’m not in a rush, and I’d rather the process be thorough from the get go so that there won't be any major hiccups/complications in the long run, as long as its all done within a reasonable timeframe (the average processing time).

My background check says "Not applicable" from the moment of AOR. Is it common/normal?

It looks like others first say "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.” and then change to "Not applicable" once it is in process.
Why mine says "Not applicable" when it is not being reviewed yet?

It's normal, I have the same.
But in the tracker it says in progress.

If your martial status changes BEFORE you land in Canada, you need to declare your marriage to IRCC BEFORE you land. Its a MUST.
Right. I will not be marrying before I get my PR and I will be doing atleast a soft-landing in Canada before I get married

CEC May 01 AOR ! Nothing progressed, not even biometric and UCI updated
CEC and PNP bulk of them take 30-40 days, no need to be concerned

Hi Guys! I'm new here. Posting my timelines.

FSW Outland

ITA: 24 March, 2023
AOR: 01 May, 2023
MEP/BIL: 10 May, 2023
Biometric: 16 May, 2023
Eligibility (started on the tracker): 22 May, 2023
Background has been in progress since the start of application.

I personally know a few friends who have gotten their PRs in the last month within 30 days from AORs, one got it in 22 days. All of them were FSW Outland. I dont know what's happening but despite the mixed things I have read on reddit, here and WhatsApp groups, I think FSW Outland applications are being processed the quickest.

Good to know. Btw, AOR 2nd May, eligibility not started. So, I guess people like me make for a "mixed" reading online.

you folks should consider adding timelines to your signatures. You'll find it very helpful as the time progresses.
What I would find helpful is people using this forum to express concern, clarify a doubt or help people and not gloat about how quick their applications are getting processed. Nothing against them, but I've been here daily and cannot see how seeing these timelines has helped me.

May I know which countries these applications belonged to?
