I have heard people recommend commissionaires for getting fingerprints
https://commissionaires.ca/
I know someone who was able to book an appointment really quickly just a few days ago. They will send your prints directly to IRCC.

Did the oath today. Took ~2.5 hours of which nearly 2 hours was waiting in Zoom rooms. Glad the entire process is over.

Whoever is maintaining the spreadsheet, my last entries will be Oath letter Aug 4th and Oath ceremony Aug 24.

Thanks all for your support throughout this process. This forum is an amazing resource and also has been a great place for me to rant about the at times very frustrating process. To all those still waiting, best of luck it's all over soon.

Update from me - I did my Oath on August 23. Like @singviet it was a long process and lots of waiting in zoom rooms. I am not complaining through! It has been a long process to get to this point. I too want to thank all the people in this thread who have been incredibly supportive and responsive to any queries and vents and rants!!!! Still have to get the passport sorted out but nearly nearly there I feel.

Received the cert exactly one week from the oath ceremony. The only part of the entire process that went quicker than expected.

Citizenship Oath done today! 189 people from 47 different countries.
What a great relief! Ceremony took quite sometime as people needed to be registered, etc... a lot of time spent in breakout rooms, but the speech by the judge was quite emotional and the officer who took care of our registration was really friendly. I have requested urgency for the certificates due to a work trip in a couple weeks. She seemed very open to help. I sent her the flights and hotel as well as meeting agenda, etc... hopefully they can expedite it... onto the next steps.

Congratulations!!! Really happy for you. Niagara Falls has been pretty good about mailing the citizenship certificates timely so far, so hopefully yours will arrive quickly. Let us know when it arrives and also if it fits (rolled or folded) into a regular small mailbox. My oath is in 8 days and I'm wondering if I should ask to update my address with delivery instructions if the certificate can't fit into a regular mailbox, as carriers tend to deliver my packages to the wrong building.

Hey @trumprefugee and fellow forum colleagues... certificates were received today. They came in a Purolator Express envelope (9.5 x 15in). Can express how relieved we are now! This whole process finally came to an end! 29 months...
I will keep you posted as to how the passport process goes; will submit it Monday... but let's cross the bridge when we get there. For now, we celebrate the conclusion of this saga! Hoping your process goes well and you all have great news soon!!!!

Whoopie that's so awesome! Happy to see that the mandamus really did its job and now you can finally withdraw it. Seems that these days, people applying for urgent passport have been getting it at the last minute just in time for their trips, so it might be a stressful rush, but you should get it in time.

@andrem lets keep each other posted on the passport process. I posted my application 12 Sept.

Hi @Orlaith , most certainly! I tried yesterday on the passport office in St Catherine's... to no avail. I arrived at the office at 10am; at 12 not a single person was in or out of the office, so I gave up. I will go on Thursday to another office nearby but won't try the urgent delivery as I had to cancel my trip next week...

Hi @Orlaith , I was able to file our passports' applications today... almost 2 hours with the clerk to go over 4 applications. I was given a delivery estimated date of late January/2023... LOL
Let's see how they perform on this but no high expectations at this point

Sorry to hear that you had to cancel your trip. But glad you were able to submit your application today. Did you go to a Service Canada since you cancelled the trip, or were you still able to go to a Passport Canada with your itinerary?

I'm happy to say that I had my oath yesterday and my tracker updated to Completed today. So time to start watching my mailbox and hope I will receive the certificate soon. The Service Canadas in my area usually have no appointments available, but I was able to snag one for November 10 late at night. Will be trying again after receiving the certificate in hopes of maybe getting something sooner. I have no idea of the availability of walk-ins here and don't have time to keep lining up for a walk-in only to not be able to get a spot.
