Hi, looking for some advice,
I sent my Application back in March,
Two months later it got returned to me, as I stupidly forgot to sign one page.
Anyway I signed and completed the application and then returned it complete. I am still waiting for an AOR even though the application got delivered back to them on May 30th.
When I originally sent the proof of payment back in March the Visa card which I used to pay for the application was valid, however now it has been almost 6 months and the Visa card has expired and by looking at my online banking the payment has still not been take .
So my questions are:
1. Do I need to contact the CIC and update my payment information?
2. Will my application get refused again ?
3. If so what the best way to contact the right person so resolve this issue, does anyone have a contact number I can speak to an officer?
Many thanks in advance
I will look into it thanks a lot@PadCan88 you will see something like this "CITIZENSHIP & IMM ON-LINEOTTAWA QC" on your card / account for the date of payment with the $ for # of applicants. Hope this helps.
Just checked my statements and no payment has been taken. So strange.@PadCan88 you will see something like this "CITIZENSHIP & IMM ON-LINEOTTAWA QC" on your card / account for the date of payment with the $ for # of applicants. Hope this helps.
Indeed, do not know if you can submit a webform with the payment receipt, as well as sending the payment receipt through mail. Did you talk to the CIC agent ?Just checked my statements and no payment has been taken. So strange.
On the phone/hold right now!Indeed, do not know if you can submit a webform with the payment receipt, as well as sending the payment receipt through mail. Did you talk to the CIC agent ?
Kinda same experience for me - My application was received on May 14th but on ECAS showing received on May 15th. May be they put a date when files were actually handed over to Admin from courier/post receiving dept.Hi folks
I observed rather a strange thing today. Till last week, when i checked my ECAS, it mentioned that my application was received on Apr 30 but today when i observed, it says my application was received on May 1 2019. Definitely a strange pattern here.
Atleast they repsond. As per there disclaimer, they won't respond if it was within the processing times. So I am thankful that they atleast respond, eventhough its not the kind of response we expect. When I have applying for Work Permit a few years back, they won't even respond and their call center phone number would ask you to email them. So I think its a lot of improvement than before. It baffles me that it takes them 2-5 business days to give you such a generic response. I hope that things turn for the best in the near future!
It baffles me nonetheless obviously any reply is better than none; however, they could also just send everyone an automated reply that states exactly this instantly instead of waiting a week... I sent a request last week and have not received anything yet. Time will tellAtleast they repsond. As per there disclaimer, they won't respond if it was within the processing times. They will reply, they reply in 5-7 days timeframe. I have sent them another query today, lets see when I get the response. It baffles me nonetheless obviously any reply is better than none; however, they could also just send everyone an automated reply that states exactly this instantly instead of waiting a week... Problem solved, money has been taken, originally upon first time sending my application, the money has since not been refunded, and said if they have any issues with payment they will contact me, and said I should expect to AOR first week in sept, as there has been a hold up processing applicationsOn the phone/hold right now!
Good to know! Maybe check with your bank as to why the charge hasn’t shown on your statement? No harm in checking in case you may have missed other charges also showing up on there.Problem solved, money has been taken, originally upon first time sending my application, the money has since not been refunded, and said if they have any issues with payment they will contact me, and said I should expect to AOR first week in sept, as there has been a hold up processing applications
If that is not in your credit card statement how was the money taken? I am not able to understand that.Problem solved, money has been taken, originally upon first time sending my application, the money has since not been refunded, and said if they have any issues with payment they will contact me, and said I should expect to AOR first week in sept, as there has been a hold up processing applications
