Haha, after validation also I doubt myself :). I have no way to find that out, I did email them last year, but they replied back saying in 2023 my number wasn't there. But they didin't confirm or deny from previous years.

I think people from 2020 will be Citizens now for sure, but people who apply now, I am sure most would be PR's or applying Citizenship. and 2020 people won't forgive them if he changes the process now :)

Don't worry, we are in the same boat. Every freaking process is like that, from WP, PR, Citizenship, Visitor Visa for Parents (covid/post covid), Super visa. Things have improved for sure, but the wait and waiting for an update email adds to the stress....

No one thought they will draw from 2020 pool for 4 years, and here we are. I think they will do another draw end of this year and then March/May next year to capture the vote.

That is how they are using extra payment from other applicants... People who didn't enroll in Courier service are getting benefits of the service. :)

Courier for sending your OCI. God also doesn't know if it's mandatory or not.

As suspected, BLS charged 3 courier charges and sent all the OCI's in one courier. Extra $$$ in their pocket for services not rendered. Isn't this sort of cheating.

For point 3 I would suggest you raise the issue with the Indian Consulate. BLS is just a courier service which uses a courier service...they have no say once you would show confirmation email.

After their torture, no one wants to put effort to fight them. Just happy to get OCI's. They have charged me 60$ X 3 for courier charges, I wouldn't be surprised if they send me all of my families OCI's in just one courier. Their status's are also all messed up. They returned my passports, but...

I think they have commission with the no of people opting for courier service.. don't see any other reason for them to be pushing for these fees. Or being lazy to have people collecting.... Hope these guys become somewhat professional like VFS...just have similar name doesn't make them same.

Nice, they agreed for that. At Winnipeg they are saying we do'nt allow OCI to be picked up. Just want to get commission from Purolator. They don't even tell that they are charging for the OCI cover, came to know about it here. Damn BLS....

Yeah, I saved 70$, but what I have observed is that postal applicatons are being processed faster than walk in applications. My friends who did postal applications got it in 5 weeks...but who did walkin got in 7-8 weeks.

Mine is 21 Jan, still no update.
