Has anyone been able to link their account yet? ive tired all weekend long and not been able to do so, and for some it always asked me to put something in the place of birth, I cant just put a space in there can someone help???????????????????????

yeah i had same issue and i tried almost 13 times over the weekend with locked down twice. finally, i was able to link it. do not fill anything in place of birth and country of birth and fill out passport information. basically, we need to fill one of those sections (either passport info or birth place info).

My application was recieved may 10 and I got Aor1 same day. Im still waiting for SA, let me know when you recieve yours!

Hello guys, my App was sent April 28 and was received May 2. AOR1 was received May 29 checked ECAS account (PA) it said "We sent correspondence on May 31 till now no Email. On (sponsor's) ECAS it said "Decision made" on june 8 still no Email, No update on Mycic. called CIC and checked status online and said "We have request for medical" still no Email or Message on Mycic. So fustrating

Quick n00b question.

I am a Permanent resident and applying for my wife and baby (both US Citizens). I plan to put in an outland application and following checklist 5533, I think I need to fill in only the following forms. Can you please chime in if this list looks complete?

a) 1344 (Undertaking sponsorship)
b) 0008 (Generic Application)
c) 5532 (Sponsorship Evaluation)
d) 5406 (Additional Family Information)
e) 5669 (Schedule A - electronically when linking the application)

So we think we can skip 0008DEP (since there are only 2 dependents including the principal applicant) and forms 5476 and 5475 (Representative and Designated Individual resply.) are optional.

I understand there are additional supporting documents to be included with the application, but wanted to confirm the actual forms needed to be filled.
